She was scared of her daughter's reaction. It had been just the two of them for all their lives and now, she had came back after being gone for over a year, where Sophie thought she was dead, and had told her she had had a baby.
-I... I have a baby brother? How is it even possible- asked Sophie tearfully
-When she... Lorraine took me, I had just found out I was pregnant- she said giving her a small smile -I know it's a lot to take in and maybe you need some time. I totally understand...-
Sophie didn't even let her finish what she was about to say and immediately threw herself in Donna's arms -Oh my baby!-
-Never leave again, Mom- cried Sophie holding into Donna tight. In that moment she wasn't a grown up woman anymore. She was just a little kid who didn't want to let her mother go. -I'm so happy... I'm so happy-
-I won't, sweetheart- choked Donna stroking her daughter's hair -I promise... never again-
-So...- started Sophie wiping away her tears and looking over at Jake, who was snuggled up to Donna's chest -He is my brother... this is crazy! I have a little brother!-
Sam wrapped his arm around Donna as they looked at each other and laughed through tears -You do, Soph... Sweetie, this is your big sister Sophie!-
-Hi Jake- she smiled stroking his little hand -He has your eyes, mom-
-Angel eyes- murmured Sam in Donna's ear as she gave them a watery smile.
She looked around and, once again tears sprang in her eyes. Everything was perfect. It was the place she had always dreamed of, even better. -This place... Oh God... I have no words Soph, it's amazing! I really can't believe you've made all this-
