You do not need to do potions to be a witch, just like you don't need to do spells to be a witch. I am a witch that does not do potions. But maybe later in my life I will. For now no.

If you say your a witch and live by the first rule then a freaking witch!

But if your the ones you wish for some potions I gather some for you.

To prevent sickness

You will need:
3 heaping tablespoons black tea
3 heaping tablespoons stevia
3 sticks or a handful of cinnamon bark chips
1 lemon, sliced or chopped with the seeds and all
about 2 cm. fresh, or whatever you can break off a dried ginger root
1/2 cup of honey, raw if you can find it
1 liter of filtered water
1/8 liter 90+ % alcohol or 1/4 liter plus a little more strong rum or vodka
a couple of jars with a good lids

Instructions:
After opening your gate/circle and asking your deities for help to protect people from disease, put all ingredients except for the alcohol in a pot or large cauldron.

Heat very high until it comes to a boil, and then turn it down to low, and allow it to simmer for an additional 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Make sure that you are putting intent into your work.  Don't get distracted by other things.  Sit or stand there with the pot, and focus on protecting people from illness.  Imagine the workings of the immune system, and that the potion will make the immune cells stronger, and the tissues healthier.

When it is done, let it cool.  Then pour it into a clean bowl, through a filter or sieve.

Then put in the alcohol. Put your potion into jars and consecrate the finished work before closing them.

Notes- shot-glass amount per day, smell before you drink, you can add water to dilute the alcohol, and keep refrigerated so you can keep it longer.

To unleash you Power Potion

Ingredients
Pure water (rain is best, distilled will work)
Pinches of ground allspice and ginger
Vanilla extract
A lemon
A white sheet of paper
A red marker
Red yarn or ribbon

Instructions
Draw a large pentacle on the paper, and set your glass in the center. While it sits in place, add a little allspice and ginger to the water, along with 3 drops of vanilla extract. Slice the lemon in half and repeat:

By this potion, I do ask,
Give me power for my task.
Herbs and fruit and color red,
Down this path, the spell is led.

Squeeze the lemon juice into your glass. Wrap the red yarn around the glass a few times, and tie in a knot. Let the glass sit for a few minutes while you concentrate on the reason you're doing this spell. Give your potion this energy, and then pick up the glass in your right hand and take a drink. You don't have to finish it all, just one good sip is fine.

Let it sit until the event your preparing for has passed. Then pour the remaining potion out into the Earth. Do not do it down the drain.
