Luka sat on his chair and laid his arms on his desk rested his chin on them lazily. Math can be so confusing sometimes... Frustrated, he decided to trace his thoughts to another topic despite knowing that he would be in some deep trouble if he was caught not paying attention in class. Oh well... The first thing that came to mind was Adrien. Adrien? He thought a tiny bit flustered. The blonde boy hoarded his attention from the first time Luka saw him. His blonde hair looks so soft, his gorgeous lime-like eyes, and his personality was so sweet and lovely. He even took some time out of his morning to help treat his scratch. Luka felt a sense of pride rise in his chest, he felt special. He felt those feelings despite knowing clearly that Adrien would help anyone else injured as he was.

Eventually, Luka couldn't help but wonder why he felt like this. He decided to go over his feelings to help decide how he truly felt about the blonde. He couldn't help but beam whenever he saw the boy. Adrien was like the sun to him, bright and sunny and spreading warmth wherever he goes. Luka had concluded his train of thought with a brief pause. I think I have a crush on him. Luka felt a small smile forming on his lips. I think he's something more than a friend. Luka's smile grew more. However, before he could smother the smile a creeping feeling arose in his gut, as one peculiar voice in the back of his head whispered eerily to him. How could you have a crush on someone you just met? What if he doesn't like boys? What if he was just acting, and he couldn't care less about you? Luka felt an endless pit open in his stomach and a sinking feeling rising in his chest. That was true. It was all true. Luka shooed those thoughts away and decided to focus on the rest of the lesson the teacher was giving to distract himself.

It was around lunch time and Luka had walked to the cafeteria to find somewhere to eat. While searching he noticed a girl with two dark blue ponytails cheerfully laughing with another girl with hair of a gradient of brown to a shade of orange. Is that...? Luka paused to stare at the blue-haired girl. He quickly spotted a flower-shaped design on her shirt that he knew belonged only to one person in the world.

"Marinette!" Luka shouted happily.

Both girls stopped to look up at the boy who had called the blue-hair's name. Luka started to walk over with one hand holding the tray of food he was holding while the other hand was waving to both girls. When Luka arrived at the table, he put his plate on the opposite side of theirs and sat on the opposite side of the table.

"Luka...?" Marinette stared intently for a couple of moments before a shocked look appeared on her face and she jumped out of her seat pointing at Luka. "How-- why-- w-what are you doing here??" She exclaimed. Luka saw that she was surprised but surprised was a simple way to put it. It was much more dramatic.

"I'm transferring to this school temporarily while my school is being renovated. How have you been doing?" Luka asked gently.

"I-I'm doing f-fine. Thanks for asking," Marinette responded, calming down and sitting quietly in her seat again. Luka smiled genuinely and looked over to the girl beside Marinette patiently listening to their conversation. She had amber eyes and she wore black glasses. She also wore a plaid shirt.  "And who might you be?" he asked the girl politely with a small smile on his face. He didn't know her yet but, if she's friends with Marinette she can't be a bad person. The girl scanned Luka's expression before responding.

She put her elbow briefly on the table and answered, "I'm Alya, Marinette's BFF. I'm also leaving now," Alya informed before standing up and collecting her tray, pausing briefly to subtly wink at Marinette. Marinette completely spaced out. She stared at the empty seat and then stared at Luka. Her face looked completely frozen. This is going to get awkward real fast.

"I didn't know you attended school here, Marinette," Luka tried to start up a conversation.

"Yeeaah, and I didn't know you were here either," Marinette looked away for a moment seeming a little bit uncomfortable. "Um-- uh- anyways, how's Kitty Section?" She tried to cover it up with an apprehensive smile. She seemed super nervous for some reason, and Luka feared that it had something to do with his sudden intrusion.

"Um, Kitty Section has been doing good. We've made a few new songs and sold a few copies," He felt a little awkward because it felt like he did something to upset Marinette which made her more tense around him. A few more unsettling moments passed before Luka decided he needed to leave. "Marinette, I think I should leave, I'm sorry but I feel like I'm making you nervous, and I don't really want to make you any more uncomfortable," Luka stood up as Marinette watched skittishly. It looked as if she wanted to say something. Luka stopped for a few moments to give her a chance. The tension in the atmosphere was getting almost unbearable. Surprisingly, she took the chance. Luka could see her mouth move as if she muttered something, but it was too soft to hear.  "Did you say something Marinette?" Luka questioned. Luka's full attention was on her. If he did something to upset Marinette he would do anything to apologize and make it up to her. Marinette was one of his close friends, and was one of the most unique girls in Paris. Then, she spoke loud enough for only Luka to hear.

"Do you... perhaps... like anyone?" She answered, her cheeks fading into a dark crimson as her voice got quieter with every word she spoke. Her hands were close to her face and her fingers touched each other. By this point, her face was heated as red as a ladybug.

He held his breath.
