Adrien waited patiently at the park for Luka to arrive. He was used to arriving at places early. He always needed to be early for his scheduled photo shoots, so having to wait for the other person wasn't surprising. After a couple of moments, Adrien felt small vibrations in the ground. Each second the vibrations felt stronger until he saw a faint figure in the distance racing towards him.

"Hey, Adrien!" Luka called distantly.

Luka ran over, then stooped down and bent his knees in exhaustion, barely containing his uncontrollable panting. Adrien stood there awkwardly while Luka attempted to regain his composure. He noticed that Luka was wearing a different jacket than what he wore at school. This jacket was a navy-blue colour, and he wore a white t-shirt underneath with what seemed to be Jagged Stone's logo on it. After his heavy panting slowed he spoke again, "Look over there, Adrien," His hand pointed towards something.

Adrien's head turned to the same direction Luka's hand was and saw André moving his ice cream cart into the Place des Vosges and setting it up. There's André, like Luka said earlier, Adrien thought.

"Well let's get some ice cream then, right?" Adrien proposed and turned back to Luka, who was standing straight now and breathing normally.

"...Right," He answered.

Both of the boys walked towards the ice cream stand and were greeted by a jolly André.

"Welcome, welcome both of you! It's good to see you again, Adrien. But I'm not familiar with you over here... what's your name young man?" André looked over at Luka waiting for a response.

"My name is Luka. My younger sister is Juleka. She's been here a few times before but I've never come here myself," Luka answered.

"Ooh, that's why you look so familiar!" The ice cream man practically danced while he talked. Then he said something both Adrien and Luka would've never expected to hear. "Were you two lovebirds looking to seal your fate with some of André's most famous ice cream?"

...

Lovebirds?!

Adrien's face flushed in mere seconds. His face grew hotter all the way to the tips of his ears, while out of the corner of his eye he saw Luka turn his head away shyly.

"No, André! You've got it all wrong! We're just friends!!" Adrien yelled defensively as he waved his arms embarrassingly in front of his face in denial.

André had a surprised look on his face for moments before laughing it off.

"Haha, oh well. Such a shame...  However, you still came for André's ice cream and you shall receive it!" André took out his ice cream scoop and two ice cream cones. He proceeded to gently place a scoop of vanilla then blueberry on top of one cone, while the other had a scoop of peach with mint on top. "Well, here are your ice creams! Enjoy, young gentlemen," He smiled with pride.

"Thank you," Hesitantly, Adrien grabbed both of the ice creams.

Adrien handed Luka the peach-mint ice cream and they both sat down at one of the benches nearby. When both of them sat on the bench together, Adrien could feel the awkward tension of André's misunderstood observation had created with the pair. He frowned. I just wanted to get to know Luka better. Now, after this he'll probably never want to speak to me again. To distract himself, he ended up looking at the ice cream he received. It kind of looked like Luka. With the blueberry being his hair and the vanilla being his white shirt. Smiling a little, he looked to see what Luka was doing in this silence. He looked deep in thought, his eyes trailing off to look at nothing. Adrien needed to do something.

I still might have a chance to fix this... I just need to lighten the mood somehow, Adrien tried to think as he took a nibble of the blueberry layer of ice cream. When the ice cream entered his mouth he couldn't help but feel amazed by it. He had completely forgotten how magically tasty André's ice creams were. The cold temperature, how it wasn't too cold that your teeth would freeze but cold enough to give you chills. The blueberry flavour that's strong and fruity, and the soft and creamy texture was wonderful to have in his mouth. "Mm..." Adrien smiled largely, his smile almost forming half a circle.

"Is it that good?" Luka's eyes peered over at the ice cream as he asked. Adrien was so caught up in the ice cream that he had almost forgotten that Luka was there, sitting next to him.

"Yes, it's so delicious! It feels like my mouth is in heaven." He closed his eyes for a brief moment to focus on the savoury sensation on his tongue. He opened his eyes after swallowing. "You still haven't tried yours?" He pointed at Luka's ice cream, which was now beginning to melt slowly.

"I haven't yet." Luka looked at his ice cream, then took the small spoon that stuck out of it to take a nibble. Adrien noticed he didn't have a large reaction, but he still smiled. It was like André's ice cream never failed to make someone smile once they've tried it.

"It's good right?" Adrien commented.

"It is."

Adrien couldn't help but smile even more. He loved seeing others be happy. However, at that moment, Luka's cheeks subtly blushed.

"Whoa, Luka are you okay? Your cheeks turned red all of a sudden!" Adrien worried.

In surprise, Luka touched his cheeks. His eyes flickered with fear for a moment but then relaxed. He chuckled a bit. Adrien was confused. Why was he laughing?

"It's nice of you to worry for me, but it's probably the heat, Adrien. I'm feeling fine,"

"Well then that's about to change," An ominous voice whispered from behind them.

Adrien and Luka froze. The voice came from the top of the steel fence behind the bench.  Adrien was the first one to have the courage to look up to see who spoke. There, sitting on top of the fence, was a girl. However, she wasn't like any kind of girl you'd ever see walking on the street. She was wearing heart-shaped buns, a purse with what seemed some sort of smoke coming out of it, and heart-shaped glasses. Basically her whole outfit was heart based. Her cape was pink, glittery, and translucent masking her clothing with a shade of pink. Her face was the most frightening of all. It was painted with a menacing grin and from behind her flush sunglasses you could see eyes full of jealousy. ones that it seemed that if you stared directly at them, something bad would happen.

"I'm Coeurcass. It's a pleasure to see the both of you again."
