"This is getting kinda boring." I grunted and tried to turn to look at Catalina. But she had my chest pressed against the wall with my arm pinned behind my back and her chest pressed against my back.

"What?" I asked. "You're not enjoying this?" She shrugged.

"I'm not complaining about the view but I do think I probably have better things to do than beat you every night." I frowned.

"I'm pretty sure I won on Wednesday night." She raised an eyebrow.

"You think you won Wednesday night?" I used my weight to push off the wall which made her stumble back. I took the opportunity to interlock our arms and pin her against me.

"Pretty sure." I whispered in her ear. She shot me an approving look.

"Are you confident about that?"

"Fairly confident." She lashed out and hooked the back of my knee with her foot. My knee buckled and she rolled us so she was pinning my arms above my head and she was straddling my waist.

"You shouldn't pretend to be fairly confident about something you're not, Grayson." I quickly looked around but Catalina rolled her eyes and ran a hand through her hair, but not getting off my waist. "Relax. I made sure they weren't around before I said it. Speaking of him, have you found out anything more about the Music Maker?" I shook my head.

"No. Did you ever tell your mom or Catwoman about the attack?" She shook her head. I raised an eyebrow. "Really? Why not?" She shrugged.

"No real reason. I didn't want them to panic. No one's seen Music Maker in weeks. No one but us has seen her." I nodded.

"Does make it a little harder to find her or for people to believe our story." I said, crossing my arms under my head. Catalina sighed again rested her hands absentmindedly on my lower abdomen.

"It's infuriating. I thought she had something big planned." I nodded.

"It makes sense. Plus her whole set up at the warehouse tends to fit in with that." Catalina's eyes darkened and her hand went to her right shoulder blade.

"What do you think was in the rest of those boxes?" I shook my head just as both of us tensed up. Clearly Catwoman and Batman's fight was coming closer to us. Catalina sleathly climbed off me and ducked into the shadows. I had to give credit to her suit. She pretty much blended into the dark except for her hair and eyes. I joined her.

"I honestly don't have an idea. My first instinct would be more jewelry like yours." She shot me a look.

"Not my jewelry. I'm not a fan of it at all." I grinned and put a hand on her knee. Because of how we were crouched in the shadows, both of us were wobbling a little.

"Not a fan. Got it." She leaned forward and crossed her arms over my shoulder and rested her head on her hands. "You good?" I asked, turning to look at her. She sighed and I felt her breath brush over my cheek.

"How much longer do you think we'll have to do this?" I frowned.

"What do you mean?" She turned so she was facing me as well. Our faces were close enough that I could see through her contacts and caught the green flecks through the blue.

"I mean, how much longer will we have to fight each other? Joker got out of prison two months ago. Doesn't Batman has bigger problems at hand other than me?" I raised an eyebrow.

"How did you know about Joker?" She rolled her eyes.

"I'm in close contact with this ex and many of his assiotices. Now answer the question." I scowled.

"That doesn't seem safe." She glared at me and I sighed.

"He isn't dealing with Joker for the same reason he isn't dealing with Music Maker. They haven't made their moves yet so he doesn't have a lot to go on." Catalina raised an eyebrow.

"Batman, the world's greatest detective, doesn't know where to start?" I groaned and rested my head on her shoulder.

"Don't say that around him. I don't want to hear about it." Catalina laughed softly and took one of her arms off my shoulder and rubbed my back.

"I won't, I promise. You just have to promise me that you'll get better at sparring, ok?" I chuckled.

"I'm not good enough as it is?" She shrugged, causing my head to jump on her shoulder.

"You need a little bit more practice. Not much other than that." I took my head off her shoulder and met her eyes again.

"You willing to teach me?" She tilted her head in consideration. Then she knocked me backwards and pinned me.

"Not tonight, babe."
