"Tell me again why you wanted to go to Hogsmeade this early?" I groaned as Pansy pulled me along.

"Because." She dragged out. "Shops will be too busy otherwise."

I rolled my eyes but followed her into honeydukes, which was already filled with students, making her argument invalid.

"Slytherins aren't even that scary." I heard someone mutter and so did Pansy. We shared a mischievous glint and grabbed our wands, cornering the younger student.

"And Hufflepuffs are scarier, you suppose?" I questioned, towering over them as they shook their heads quickly.

"N-no, I d-didn't mean i-it that w-way." The younger student stuttered and Pansy and I snickered, backing away and letting him go.

"Honestly, you two need to grow up." Draco Malfoy's voice sounded and I rolled my eyes at him playfully.

"Coming from Potter's biggest admirer?" I chuckled and nudged him with my shoulder.

"Think you're being funny, do you?" Draco glared at me but I didn't miss the amusement in his voice.

"You love me, brother, just admit it." I winked at my twin and he rolled his eyes.

"Whatever. Have you seen Blaise?"

"You know Zabini doesn't want to be close to Pansy, she scares him." I chuckled and Draco and Pansy snickered.

"He deserved me lashing out at him!" Pansy defended herself and I shook my head with an amused smile.

"Poor boy, he's never been treated so rudely." I winked at Pansy and she huffed.

"Poor boy needs to get that stick out of his arse."

"Thanks Parkinson, I'll consider it." Blaise's voice sounded from behind us and I glared at Draco's amused smirk before turning to his best friend.

"Zabini." I grinned and he smiled at me.

"Malfoy, your pet dog needs grooming." He grinned and gestured at Pansy, who let out a fake gasp.

The four of us walked to the three broomsticks after Pansy had gotten all the sweets she had been craving and settled down with some butterbeer.

"So, how's being in an elite group of remarkably annoying people?" I teased Blaise, knowing it would annoy him.

"You're just jealous you weren't invited to Slughorn's club." Blaise retorted and I chuckled.

"As if I'd want to be part of something called The Slug Club, nice try." I winked and Blaise chuckled.

"It's actually quite boring. More Gryffindors than Slytherins and not even a Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff in sight." Blaise complained and we all groaned.

"Honestly, how'd all the bloody Gryffindors get in there? Granger, I understand, but the others are quite below average if you ask me." I shook my head and sent Draco a pointed look when he scrunched his nose up at the mention of Hermione Granger.

"I don't know what's gotten into Potter, but he's managed to get top of the class in potions this year." Pansy huffed and Draco scoffed in annoyance.

"What is it you do at those dinners?" I asked Blaise in curiosity.

"Slughorn just asks everyone questions about their personal lives. He actually mentioned something about a Christmas soiree where we were all allowed to bring a date." Blaise explained and Pansy suddenly straightened up in her seat.
