"Professor, please!" I tried again, knowing it was useless.

"Until you get your grades back up, I'm afraid there's nothing I can do." Professor McGonagall was unwavering in her decision and I sighed.

"Well, can't you assign me a tutor or something? It's OWLs this year." I was desperate. Harry had expressed how much he needed me on the team and here I was, failing my classes. He'll kill me, he reminds me of Wood sometimes.

"I'll ask around." Professor McGonagall nodded and hope filled me. If she could get me a tutor in time, I might be back on the team before the next match.

"Thank you, Professor!" I grinned and left her office, making my way down to the Great Hall where I'd said I'd meet Ginny.

     "How'd it go?"

"She's going to find me a tutor." I half smiled, grabbing a piece of pie. "Hey Dean." I greeted Ginny's boyfriend of the moment.

"Little Johnson." He joked and I glared at him.

"Don't listen to him." Ginny rolled his eyes and started telling me about the drama I'd missed by staying behind ten minutes in class. Honestly, Hogwarts is just a brewing ground for drama.

"Don't forget the essays on the vanishing spells. I want them ready by next class." Professor McGonagall announced. I got up with Ginny, already making my way out the door when McGonagall called me back.

     "Yes, Professor?" I asked politely.

"I found you a tutor. If you could go down to the library, he'll be waiting there." She told me and I nodded.

"What did she want?" Ginny asked, having waited for me outside of the classroom.

"I've got a tutor, I'm supposed to go down to the library right now." I told her.

"Oh, well tell me everything about this tutor when you get back to the common room then!" Ginny winked and left me to go to the library by myself.

I walked the familiar corridors until I reached the library. Careful not to make too much noise as I passed Madam Pince, I let my eyes scan the room. Why didn't she just tell me who my tutor was? My eyes fell onto Terry Boot, a Ravenclaw in Harry's year. He was in the DA with me last year and Hermione said he's one of the only twelve NEWTs potion students. He looked up, his eyes finding me and he grinned, waving me over.

"Boot." I smiled at the older Ravenclaw.

"Johnson." He grinned. "Professor McGonagall said you needed a tutor and I offered."

"Oh." I thought he'd just waved me over to talk. "Thanks." I sat down and took out my books.

"Alright so, she's told me the parts where you seem to be struggling the most and gave me some notes. I've been rereading what my textbook from last year." I wasn't focussing on what he was saying anymore. Was Terry Boot always this handsome? Or did that just happen over the summer?

     "Johnson?"

"Huh?" I focused back on Terry, who raised his eyebrows at me.

     "Are you alright?"

"What? Oh, yeah I'm fine!" I smiled. I can't believe I let myself get caught staring at him.

"Alright, well, when do you want to start the tutoring sessions?" Terry asked me.
