Alydia's POV

" Yes I am here baby, what happened to you?! "

"I-I dont r-remember mum"

"Here lift her Ise". My dad said.

Mom and Dad lifted me to my bed.

" You are okay, kid. You are okay". Dad said stroking my head, giving me a warm hug.

"You do not remember anything at all?" Mom asked panting with fear in her ocean blue eyes.

I thought hard.

"There was this sudden pain. My heart, it was hurting so bad. My vision was blacking out slowly and my legs went numb, I could not even get up to call someone".

Mom and Dad exchanged looks

"We cannot say what it is right away. It could be the awakening of your wolf maybe?" Mom whispered with a little smile .

Awakening of my wolf?

"I do not remember you guys telling me it was this painful!".

" Like I said, we cannot tell right away what it could be. You are only 17 still, there is so much more for your body to go through."

She strokes my legs calmly.

"For you to shift into a wolf, find a mate first".

Mom winks at the last part and Dad broke out laughing.

"Ah mom". I hide my face in embarrasement bringing my knees up and hugging them.

She chuckles and then goes serious.

"It will happen again and when it does, the first person you call is me or dad. Dont hesitate for a second. Got it?"

I nod

"Now get some rest".

Mom and Dad planted a kiss on my forehead and before closing the door,
Dad peaks in " Dont be thinking about your mate now ".

" Dad, oh my god! ".

I throw the pillow at the door from the embarrasment and close my eyes to get some rest.

Wind blows past me as I walk through the dark forest barefooted. Dry leaves crumbled under my feet as I walk over them. Pack of wolves began to howl and my heart started to raise. I began to run as fast as my legs could take me. There was someone behind me although I could not see who it was, clearly. And then everything stops. The air was still , no wolves howling, it was quiet. I slowly turn around to face what looked like a door. My feet began to move towards the door. And there it stood an old wooden door with a golden spiral on it. The spiral glisened as I moved closer to touch it and instantly the door vanishes into thin air

I woke up breathing hard and almsot threw myself off of the bed when I stood up, shocked.

A gold spiral? What was that and why was in my dreams, out of nowhere.

The phone buzz off as a call came up. I gasped and turned around to where my phone was. Unknown number,
Who could it be?

My hand slowly reached for the phone and swiped on the green color option.

No words came out of my mouth as I brought the phone to my ear.

"Hey, its me Elaine!"

I let out a sigh of relief closing my eyes.

"Oh my god, you scared me." It came out rather like a whisper.
