Aking sinta, hinahanap kita.
Hinahanap kita sa mga dayuhan lumalakbay sa aking buhay.
Hinahanap kita sa bawat sulok ng maliit kong mundo.
Hinahanap kita.

My love, I am finding you.
I am finding you in every stranger who pass by in my life.
I am finding you in every corner of my small world.
I am finding you.

A stanza I wrote in Grade 8.

"The weirdest thing happened."

Grey plugged his earphones in the moment Midnight said that. He arched his eyebrow as he watched his girl settled in her comforter. It's been four days since they last talked and it was nice to see her again. Even if it was virtually.

"Spill."

"Well, you know Kyle, Kyle as in my best friend. Well the weirdest thing happen. For some reason, he confessed and apparently he's been in love with me for the longest time, which I never knew. Why didn't I knew? But it's not like it matters cause-"

"Woah, slow down baby. What are you trying to say?" Grey couldn't control the small smile as Midnight stopped and gaped.

"You didn't heard a word I said?"

"I heard about your friend's name." Grey had a sudden realization. What if Midnight realized something? What if Midnight suddenly realized she loved the kid more rather than him? She saw more worth in that kid rather than him? He started to frantically think but chose not to show it.

"Yeah... I don't know how to tell you this but...
Kyle... He confessed."

"How does that make you feel?" Grey asked somberly even though all negatives ran through his head.

"Honestly? I don't know. I just... I can't believe I never saw it you know. I never knew someone even loved me, and I can't help-"

"You can't help but feel like you wasted something." Grey somberly said. His eyes casting downwards.

"Grey..."

"Night, you don't have to explain. Okay? He's been your best friend since forever. He's your rock. And whether I like to admit it or not, the kid is good looking, he's your age, he's-"

"I only want you, Grey." Midnighy's voice wavered because of the sucky wifi.

"You only say that because you don't want me to feel bad." Grey grumbled softly but he couldn't help the sudden beating of his heart when he heard her words.

Midnight's laugh echoed around them filling his empty chest with bliss. And just like that Grey knew it didn't matter whether or not they were far from each other.

Nothing could break them apart,

Grey's eyes couldn't help but soften as midnight's tired eyes greeted him. He knew the extreme time difference they both had and he couldn't help but appreciate her effort. Luckily, it was a weekend so Midnight could stay up as long as she liked.
