Part 9
Protective
-Ruel's POV-
I heard a sound I know too well from living on this side of town.
Ruel: fuck
I grabbed y/n and dropped to the floor holding her close to me.
The robbers ran in and smashed up the shelves.
My arms were wrapped around y/n holding her close to me.
She buried her head into my chest.
-y/n's POV-
I heard some glass smash and then Ruel swear.
He grabbed me and pulled me to the floor, he held me close to him as some people ran in and raided the shop.
I burned my head into his chest.
Ruel: fuck I should have never bought you here, I'm so sorry.
Y/n: hey it's not your fault, I chose to come here.
Ruel just held me close as the people smashed up the store and the police showed up.
The robbers ran off as they showed up.
Ruel helped me up and I hugged him.
He held me tight for a few minutes until i heard the voice of the last person I wanted to see right now.
Alice: y/n, thank god you're okay.
She pulled me away from Ruel and forcefully hugged me.
Alice: what are you doing with him?
She looked at Ruel with disgust on her face.
I stood in front of Ruel and held his hand.
Y/n: excuse you, his name is Ruel and he's the one who protected me.
Ruel: hey it's fine, I know how it is in this town.
Alice: we're leaving now y/n.
She walked towards the car and I knew she was mad with me.
I turned to Ruel and kissed him before running off to the car as a tear slipped down my cheek.
I hated the face that my mother was so judgemental of Ruel, just because he was for the other side of town.
