Chapter 22

I woke up in the hotel's room. I looked at the watch which was located on the table beside the bed. It was 6pm. I had slept for
hours. *where is him?* I used my eyes to scan the whole room. Suddenly I heard the door being clicked. It was Luhan. He entered
the room, and took a seat beside me on the bed. "Feeling better?" I nodded my head. "Hana ah.." I turned my head to look at him.
He looked hesitant. "What?" I asked curiously. Silence could be heard for a while. "A..ani.. ehm, there is going to be a party at the
pool. Would you like to join?" He asked. I shivered a bit hearing the 'pool' part. He chuckled. "Don't worry. I won't let the water
touch you. Not even a single bit." Luhan announced protectively. I looked deep into his eyes. I couldn't help but to feel butterflies
on my stomach. That feeling came again. My heart thumped so fast. I admitted. I suddenly felt so happy when I heard what he said.
A smile appeared on my face. "So..how??" He was waiting for my answer. I nodded my head. "Yeah, why not?" I replied. He
immediately showed me his cute smile. "At what time will it take place?" He took a look of his watch which was worn on his right
wrist. "About 10 pm." He answered casually. "Sure.." 
 
We had dinner at the nearest restaurant at that night. It was romantic, with the dim light, the moon, and the shining stars
enlightened that place, and the surrounding. Luhan pulled the seat for me. "Thanks.." I said nervously. He just nodded his head,
as he smiled. The food was finally served. We ate in silence, probably too busy with our own thoughts. "What..are you going to do,
when people..finally know about us?" I decided to ask. He shook his head in return. "I don't know.. facing them, maybe?" He
forced a smile. "What about you?" He asked back. I sighed. "If..there is someone, who needs you more than I do.. then I'll let her.."
I answered without looking at him. He was speechless. He knew. He knew that I was talking about Minyoung. He wanted to
respond, but he didn't know how to. Right now, his feeling, his mind were in such a mess. He didn't know whom she really loved.
He forced himself to smile.

Here we were. It was so crowded here. People were waiting for the party to start. We walked to the nearest table to grab the drink.
The presence of someone suddenly woke me up. I grabbed Luhan by his wrist. "Wae?" He asked me. I used my forefinger to point
at 'that' direction. He looked surprised too. I released my grab, and decided to go somewhere else, when Luhan suddenly grabbed
my wrist. "Don't. Sooner or later people will know, let's make it a start." He announced. I was shocked. I admitted that I was not
ready for this, but I couldn't do anything since he said so. "But.." I wanted to refuse, when suddenly I saw that bitch walking
towards our direction. "Oppa.." she called out as she smiled widely. "Oh..you're here too." She said in an evil tone. She smirked at
me. "What are you doing here?" Luhan asked her. "Having a little vacation. You?" "Same condition here.." Luhan answered as he
faked a smile. She didn't even look at me. It seemed like I was invisible. All of a sudden, the light was turned off. A very loud disco
music was heard. "Let's enjoy the night..party start!!!!!" A boy in his mid twenty shouted. I assumed that he was the DJ. The area
around the pool suddenly turned into a dance floor. I was not used to it, so I chose to back off. People started to dance. I noticed
Luhan trying to avoid her, and to walk away. But he couldn't. I chuckled seeing his effort. 
 
"Yahh, that girl.." Luhan said as he walked towards my side. I laughed a bit. "She's really annoying." He added. It was silent for a
while until a slow music was heard. Luhan looked at me. "What?" I asked. "Can I have this dance?" He offered his hand. "Sure.." I
put my hand on his. We both moved to the dance floor.
 
My heart thumped so fast and without my knowing, he was having the same problem as mine. His heart was thumping like crazy. I
could hear it. "Do you still love him?" Luhan suddenly asked. I was quite surprised. "I..I don't." I stuttered. "How about you?" I
asked back without thinking. When I realized what I had asked, I scolded myself. I chuckled on my own. "Ofcourse you do.." I
added as I forced a smile without looking at him. "5..4..3.." we suddenly heard people counted. I spontaneously backed away from
him, and looked up at the sky. "2...1..!!!!" People were cheering happily. Out of nowhere, different kinds of fireworks were shot up
in the air. "Woahh.." I was so amazed. A smile appeared on my face. Luhan was looking at me. There was something on me that
made his heart skipped each time he saw me. I finally looked down, and I could see him looking at me. Time seemed to stop
working for a while. We both looked at each other. 
 
He suddenly brought his face closer to me.. I was nervous. I wanted to move, but my body wouldn't listen to me. I stood still. He
looked deep into my eyes. He was so close to me right now. I could hear his heartbeat, his breath..I could smell his cologne. I finally
got my sense back. "Wait.." I stopped him, by pressing my hands on his chest. "We can't.." I shook my head. "We can't.." I
repeated. It didn't take too long for me to immediately walked away from him. I was so confused, by my feeling, his feeling, I didn't
know. My heart thumped faster than it had ever been before. *what should I do?*
