Chapter 35

Minyoung had finished her hospital term. Now, she was back to school. We were walking down the hallway, when we suddenly saw

them. Our eyes met, but I pretended as though I saw nothing. Minyoung spontaneously ran to him. I didn't want to meet him. So, I

walked away.

I was about about to walk further when someone suddenly stopped me. They all stood in a line infront of me. They were 4minute,

the queenkas. I had not met them in quite a while. They smirked evilly. "Woww..woww..look who do we have here." Gayoon spoke

out. I wanted to turn, but they stopped me. Hyuna pushed me to the wall, and my back hit it. "Arghh.." I groaned in pain.

Unfortunately, it drew people's attention. Luhan, Minyoung, and other people around us. Luhan was surprised about what he

saw. He wanted to help me, but he couldn't. His friends were still there. They all just watched us. "I am still confused. Why does a

girl like you.." Jihyun pointed at me, then she continued "can enter the same school as ours? Huh?" She insulted me. Her friends

just laughed along with her. I was now looking at them, waiting for them to stop. "What are you staring?" Hyuna shouted as she

pushed me by my shoulder. I fell. Luhan flinched when he saw me. Hyuna brought me up, and it looked like she wanted to slap me.

It was really unexpected. Someone suddenly came to help me. I thought it was Luhan, but..no.. when I looked up, I saw his friend. 

"Oppa, what are you doing?" Jihyun asked him. "You guys are crossing the line." He said angrily before he brought me away.

Luhan watched everything. Now he felt that he was a coward. He was not the one to help me in that state. He felt disappointed at

himself. His heart's hurt. 

He brought me to the school's park, and he sat me down on the bench. He immediately brought his handkerchief out. He kneeled

infront if me, and he cleaned the stained of blood on my knee. I was looking at him. He finally looked up, and our eyes met. I was

confused. One question in my mind..Why?? Chen could feel the tension between us. So, he awkwardly stood up. "I..ehm.,"

"thanks.." I cut him off. He looked at me for a while. "Thank you so much Jongdae ssi." I repeated. He smiled nervously before he

corrected "just call me Chen..it's more comfortable." I nodded my head in response. He took a seat beside me. Silence could be

heard for a while. "Why?" I suddenly asked as I turned my head to look at him. "I mean..you guys are different before.." I added. He

shrugged his shoulder. "I don't know..it's just..you remind me of my little sister." He told me bitterly. "Am I?" A smile appeared on

my face. He nodded his head. I guesses Chen was not that bad. I took a glance at him, and I could see him keeping quiet, probably

thinking about his sister. He suddenly offered his hand. I was surprised. "Ne?" "Let's be friends, starting from today." He showed

me a wide smile. *he's cute..* I thought. "But..how about.." "my friends?" He cut me off. I slowly nodded my head. "Don't worry

about them..they have no right to control the way I socialize." He persuaded me. I finally grabbed his hand, and shook it. "Ehm, so

sorry for our behaviour on these past few years.." he apologized. I looked at him. I could see him playing with his fingers. I

chuckled, as I nodded my head. I felt so happy. I finally made more friend. The second one since I entered this school.

"Hana ah.." Minyoung called me. I turned around. She walked closer to me. "I heard that you were bullied by the queenkas. How

are you feeling?" She asked. A smile appeared on my face. "I'm fine. Chen was there. He helped me." I told her. "Jjinja?" She

looked surprised. I nodded my head in return. "Woahh..ohh.." she remembered something. "Are you free on this next holiday?"

She asked. I thought for a while. "Wae?" "Let's have a trip to the mountain. Let's have fun." She cheerfully announced. "But.." "no

excuse is accepted." She cut me off. "You can bring Suho oppa too..he's a nice guy." She winked at me. "Uh..ehm..I'll try.." I told

her. 

"Minyoung ah.." someone suddenly called out. She turned around. It was him. "Oppa.." he walked closer to us. Luhan's eyes

finally landed on me. I immediately looked away. Minyoung encircled her arm around Luhan's. I looked at the 'thing' infront of me.

"Oppa..Hana said that Chen oppa helped her just now." She told him. "Yeah, arra.." Luhan forced himself to smile. Actually, deep

inside his heart, he hurted so bad. He felt like a coward. He was not the one to help me. He felt disappointed of himself. 

I couldn't stand it anymore. I excused myself, and I went back to the class. "Yerim ah, do you that Minyoung, and Luhan oppa are

dating?" One of my classmates, Park Yumi asked her friend. Yerim immediately nodded her head in return. "Ofcourse.." she

sighed, then continued "as much as I love Luhan oppa, I have to be happy for him. Besides, they look so good together..what a

perfect match." I heard what she said with my own ear. 

Yumi nodded her head. "Yeah..I have to let them be together. They really make a good couple." She complimented. *is that so?

They are really meant for each other?* I took a glance at them. "What are you looking at?" Yerim suddenly scolded me. I

immediately looked away. She rolled her eyes on me. 

*are they right? Should I just back off, and admit my defeat? I am so tired..*
