Does it annoy anyone else when people ask "why does Faybelle say her mother is 'The Dark Fairy' and not Maleficent?" Or "Doesn't Ariel, the little mermaid, already have a daughter: Melody?"
Seriously people, how can you watch the show, read the books etc. and not realise that EAH IS NOT DISNEY?!
Maleficent is Disney, in the original story the villain is not called Maleficent, Maleficent is Disney's version of the character, ok? Therefore, because EAH is owned by Mattel and not Disney, they can't call her Maleficent! Which is why she is known only as 'The Dark Fairy'.
The same applies in the case of Melody. Ariel from is Disney's version of The Little Mermaid and so is her daughter Melody, therefore she cannot be in EAH.
There. Glad we got that straightened out.
Sorry that this rant was so short, but I had to say something. All of the Youtube comments like these on EAH videos were really bugging me. Has anyone else come across these comments/questions before? Does it bother you too? Let me know in a comment!
