Ch 7
I hit the ground and all I could hear was Ruel, yelling to call the ambulance. I opened my eyes and saw him, doubled over me about to cry, that made me cry. But before I could say anything, I blacked out again.
While I was out I could hear people yelling, Ruel the most out of everyone. I think I was in shock from hearing him say that he was in love with me. I knew that if we were together that there was more chance of me losing him. And I couldn't stand the thought of losing him.
I wasn't scared of how he felt. I was scared that I felt the same way. I have known him basically my whole life and we know everything about each other, but I was so scared that it could all come crashing down and I would lose my best friend.
After some intense thinking I guess my brain decided to wake up, so I slowly started to open my eyes. Through tired eyes I could see Ruel asleep next to me, holding my hand. I half stretched out and he woke up.
Ruel: hey your awake, how are you feeling?
y/n: uh yeah alright I guess. What happened?
Ruel: you were really de-hydrated and blacked out. You've been asleep for almost 12 hours.
y/n: oh
Ruel: do you remember anything?
y/n: yeah. I remember everything. Listen, I didn't mean to scare you or anything, I was just shocked about wha-
Ruel: no, no I understand, it was stupid of me to say it. I'm gonna go get a drink.
y/n: Ruel.
Ruel: yeah
y/n: I love you. More then you'll ever know
His face light up and he walked back over to me. I had grown the strength to sit up, and he sat down on the end of the bed. He put his hand behind my ear and run his thumb over my lips. My heart was beating fast. He leaned in to kiss me, but suddenly pulled away.
Ruel: we can't. I'm gonna lose you
y/n: your not gonna lose me
I pushed the hair out of his face and kissed him. Not to sound corny or anything, but it was like fireworks went off. It seemed that the world had stopped spinning just for us.
Kylie: oh my god. Fuck yes!! I knew this would happen.
Both Ruel and I jumped, she scared the absolute shit out of us.
Ruel: Jesus Christ Kylie, you scared me half to death
Kylie: sorry, I was just excited. I knew this would happen Ruel, I told you that you would give in to your feelings one day and that day has finally come.
Ruel: ok Kylie, come with me to get y/n something to drink
Kylie: I just got back from the cafe, I might stay here with y/n
Ruel: alright but I will be back soon
Ruel got up and walked out, down the hall. Kylie came and sat on the seat next to me. She looked like she was about to explode with excitement
Kylie: sooo how was that?!
