Chpt. 2 🍯

Mak POV

Man I messed up big time. I got arrested because my gun was connected to two homicides. I thought I would've gotten away with it like I usually do but I wasn't careful this time. I hope this trial isn't long and they find something that proves I'm innocent or something even though I'm not.

4 days later ( courtroom )

Today is the day of my trial, I'm gonna see if I'm gonna be doing anymore time than I am right now. I hope they set me free today because I need to be with my family. I've been in this cell since last year and it's killing me to only see my family twice a week. If they set me free, I'm gonna lay low for a while before I kill again. I might actually step down for a while so I can get shit together.

"Get up Mak you gotta go to court today and see what they're gonna sentence you to" Officer Stallion spoke to me. She's a chill officer here at the county along with Officer Draya. Those are the only officers that check on me to make sure that I'm straight. The others are just assholes but we'll get into that another time.

As I'm walking into the courtroom I began to grow nervous because my family's all here including my kids and their mother. I really hope they release me. It would kill me if I have to do more time than I already am in here. Pray for me....

Sélah POV

I went to see what was going to happen to Makado. Nick and the rest of  YBN are on tour right now so they can't be hear for his hearing but I will call them and tell them what happens.
I wore my green slacks, floral button down top, with my black heels and gold belt to match it off . I was honestly nervous about today because Makado will either be found guilty of the two homicides or he will be set free.

I need him to come home because my niece and nephew miss their father and I miss my big brother. It's not the same when someone is missing out of our clique. I took Nick Jr. and Celestia to Nicks mothers house because I don't want them to see their uncle like this. Nick jr even looks up to him so seeing him in the courtroom will break his heart.

After I drop off the children at his mothers house I go back home , get of my black and white marbles Lamborghini truck and get into my blacked out Audi. I got to the courthouse early and went to take a seat in the front row so Mak will see me. I hope my brothers are coming to his hearing so he knows that we all have his back no matter what.

Soon the victims families and jurors begin to pile into the courtroom. The families would give me dirty looks but I'm not hear for their asses, I'm here to support my brother and whatever the judge decides to give him. As I'm thinking I felt a tap on my shoulder making me look up to see all the guys here. Even Maks baby mom and my niece and nephew are here to show him support. I was glad that they made it here today, Mak is going to be happy.

"All rise-" said the officer in the courtroom, letting us know that the trial was about start. I got nervous all over again but calmed down when felt Chris hug me and tell me that everything was going to be okay. I saw a female officer bring my brother out in handcuffs, my nephew called his name and that made my heart sink. He looked over to us with glossy eyes but smiled at us cause he was happy that we were here. I hope this goes well....

Judge Mathis final decision

"What does the jury find of Makado Sampson?" Judge Mathis asked the jury; I had my fingers crossed hoping they will set him free today. "The jury finds the co-defendant not guilty to both homicides due to the lack of evidence your honor" spoke the jury making my heart beat out of my chest. THE LORD IS GOODD. "You are free to go Mr. Sampson and I don't want to see you here EVER again do you understand?" "yes your honor I understand and you won't ever see me here again, Thank you so much "spoke Mak and I almost fell out of my seat because my BROTHER IS FINALLY FREE. "Case DIMISSED" spoke Judge Mathis...
