"You're sure you're okay with me coming along?" Daniel asked for the thousandth time, and Amaya laughed, looking over at him. They had already boarded the plane, and it was about to take off. Even if she changed her mind, it was a little too late for that.
"Daniel, yes. You're wonderful company– even if you do keep sending me memes. Why do you have so many?" She raised an eyebrow, and he shrugged, glancing down at his phone before looking over to her.
"Fans react to our tweets with memes so I just... keep them. It's funny."
"That's cute, honestly. Then they see you care."
"I don't know... they're just memes, you know? That's why I try to let them know I love them every chance I get."
Amaya smiled, placing her hand over his own. She had the words to tell him how amazing that was, but she didn't need them. All she had to do was squeeze his hand, and he knew.
And, maybe without realizing it, her hand didn't move as they took off– not even a little bit.
