It was a chaotic morning. Aaliyah was running around getting the children awake, ready, fed, in time for their places of education.  Jameel was watching her run around. He noticed how she never lost her temper, or shouted at them, and how obedient they were of her. Jameel decided to help, and they got everyone ready, fed and dropped off on time. After coming back, Aaliyah was having a hot chocolate.

"We make a good team" a beaming Jameel said

"Yes we do" Aaliyah replied. We always have done she thought miserably.

"Aaliyah?"

"Yes?"

"Tell me about my wife."

"What do you want to know?"

"Everything. I don't remember anything."

Aaliyah was worried. She was scared if she told him, it'd put too much pressure on his brain. "I didn't know her that well" she said, leaving the table.

"Stop Aaliyah." Aaliyah froze and turned around. "Yes?" "Do you have a problem with me?" "No, of course not. Why would you think that?" "Your behaviour around me." "My behaviour?" "Your always nervous around me. Your always evasive in your answers about your husband. Your not telling me about my wife. What's the problem?" "No problem, I just don't know your wife well enough."

Aaliyah ran to her room. She looked at her wedding pictures and traced her hands over Jameels face. She put the pictures to her heart, and started crying. When will you remember me she thought? Aaliyah was weeping as Jameel entered the room. Aaliyah dried her eyes quickly, and stood up to face him. "I just remembered some things about your wife. She loved you a lot. Just don't forget that." Aaliyah quickly put the pictures away, and walked off. Jameel was about to leave, when something caught his eye. It was a picture of Aaliyah in her wedding dress, on her wedding day. She's a beautiful bride he thought, but he stood in shock as he saw her grooms face. Smiling happily next to her was him. Jameel dropped the picture to the floor. What was he seeing?
