Aaliyah ran to the coffee shop. She didn't know why Jameel had called her there, but she hoped he was ok. The children were getting frustrated at not being able to call her mummy or show her any affection, due to the game. Aaliyah had promised them the game would end soon. She just hoped it really did. No one asked her how it felt to not have your own husband recognise you. No one heard her crying herself to sleep every night, due to Jameel not knowing who she was. Everyone just assumed she was ok, because she put a smile on her face, and got on with everything.

Aaliyah reached the coffee shop and looked for Jameel. Sighing, she collapsed onto a chair, as she couldn't see him anywhere. She tried ringing him, but it just went straight to voicemail. She hoped he was ok. She got out her phone, to ring him again, when she heard a voice.

"Heyoooo".

Aaliyah looked up at Jameel and gasped. She remembered that greeting all too well. Aaliyah watched as Jameel took a seat. She waited for his next words.

"I'm sorry. Can we start again? Hi, I'm Jameel."

Aaliyah shook his hand, with her own. This felt like Deja vu all over again. But why had Jameel said these exact words? Was he remembering? Jameel looked a her puzzled. Had he given himself his away? He quickly spoke to clarify himself, before she got suspicious.

"I feel like I've said these words to someone or someone has said them to me. Aaliyah, can you help me out?"

Aaliyah looked at Jameel. Her heart sank. He didn't remember anything, but if he remembered these bits of conversation, then surely he's going to remember everything, thought Aaliyah excitedly?

"No, I've never heard them before. Sorry" said Aaliyah.

Jameel sat back surprised. His plan was still working. He could of kicked himself earlier, as he nearly gave the game away. He was thankful Aaliyah hadn't caught on. But why's she still acting like we're strangers? What's going on?
