"Muum!" Hopeleighlyn yelled. "We're gonna be late and I want to get there in time to meet Morgz." She huffed and put her dirty blonde hair into a messy bun. She chucked on her favourite Morgz hoodie and her checkered vans.
You see, Hopeleighlyn wasn't like other girls.
She didn't wear crop tops and booty shorts like the other teenage girls. She didn't cake her face in makeup like the other teenager girls. She didn't go out partying every weekend. She preferred to stay in bed and watch Netflix. She was truly quirky. She also listened to Billie Eilish and wore checkered vans 24/7. She didnt even take them off when showering or going to bed.
"Hopeleighlyn, why don't you put on something nice, like a dress?" Linda, her mother sighed.
Hopeleighlyn shook her head. "Nope. I'm staying in the hoodie and leggings." She didn't care about her appearance. Although she put on a little bit of mascara to bring out her sapphire blue eyes.
