Chapter forty-two

Jungkook's P.O.V

I decided to go to the hospital to have a check-up. I didn't tell Ji Yoo about it because I know she would get worried.

"Jeon Jungkook?"

I stand up after hearing my name being called by a nurse and went inside the doctor's room with her.

Mr. Kim: Hey Jungkook! What are you doing here? It's been a while!

Jungkook: Good morning, Jin Hyung.

I bow at him before sitting infront of him.

Mr. Kim: So what is the problem?

Jungkook: I don't know why but my heart hurts sometimes. Then my breath always got heavier.

Mr. Kim wrote down what I said and sighed.

Mr. Kim: Well is seems like... Don't be too surprised.

Jungkook: Okay?

Mr. Kim: You have a heart problems but it was not that terrible. We can still cure that if you always drink your medicines that I will give you and if you always attend to your daily check-ups so I will know if the medicine is effective.

The nurse gave me the medicines and I just nodded at him. I stand up and bow at him, going outside the room to the cashier so I can pay for the medicines.

Afterwards I head back to the company with my car. I dial Ji Yoo's number and waited for her to answer.

CAR

📱: Waeyo?

Jungkook: Did you already ate lunch?

I ask as I close the car door behind, going inside the company to my office.

📱: About to eat now.

Jungkook: Okay, I'll also eat lunch now. Be safe there sweetheart love youu.

A smile formed on my lips once I said that as I sat on my chair.

📱: You too. I love you too sweetheart.

Then she hang up the phone, I suddenly felt a pain on my chest again.

Jungkook: Shit...

I curse under my breath, taking the medicine on the paper bag and drinking the tablet with some water. I go to the cafeteria here in our company where we always eat our lunch and start eating there.

CAFETERIA

???: Jungkook?

I look behind and saw Hoseok with a wide smile as my eyes are now widden.

Jungkook: Hyung?

I said with food on my mouth not believing I just saw my hyung, he sat besid me and put his arms around my shoulders.

Hoseok: How are you? It's been a long time since we seen each other like four years to be exact.

He said in a happy tone.

Jungkook: How did you know that I'm working here?

Hoseok: Of course I ask Jimin.
Anyways, how's life to be a married man?

Jungkook: Well at first I thought my life would be miserable because I told you before that Ji Yoo is my mortal enemy but after all what happened we got along and now we live happily.

I smiled thinking what we have been through starting from where we are still enemies.

Hoseok: Oh? So you fell in love at her after getting along?

He asks in disbelief. I just nodded my head as my answer with a thin smile.

Hoseok: WHAT A SWEET STORY!

He exclaimed very loud gaining the employees attention and they were giggling.

Jungkook: Hyung! Seriously you are so childish!

I said in a whisper but making sure he heard me and continue eating.

Hoseok: Welp, I got it from you.

I slap his shoulder making him laugh and I pout.

Jungkook: Why don't you eat?

Hoseok: I'm on a diet.

Jungkook: That explains why you look like a skeleton.

Hoseok: Atleast I'm good at dancing.

Jungkook: but a scaredy cat.

Hoseok: Hey you are crossing the line!

Jungkook: Can't you see that I'm eating here and where is the line?

I pretend finding the line but I just get a smack from him.

Jungkook: The fudge?!

Hoseok: That's for teasing me!

Jungkook: I'm not teasing you! I'm just telling the truth!

Hoseok: If you didn't stop I'll call your wife!

Jungkook: What?! Okay I'll stop!

I said munching the food again but he just chuckle making me confuse.

Jungkook: What's your problem dude?

Hoseok: Stupid! I just remembered her name but I haven't met her yet! I don't have her number bro!

Jungkook: Seriously hyung! Stop it!

I ignore him and finish my food. I drink some water while Hoseok was just watching my moves.

Time Skip!

I go home after my work and saw Ji Yoo on the couch, I was about to go towards her but my heart hurts again. I already take the medicine before I proceed here but I don't know.

Ji Yoo: Sweetheart! Does your heart aches again?

She asks in worried but I just gave her a weak smile and carress her hair.

Jungkook: No, I'm fine.

Ji Yoo: Come sit on the couch and I'll get you some water.

She assisted me to sit on the couch as she get me some water. Then she came back with a glass of water, I drank the water in one gulp and I was holding onto my chest.

Ji Yoo: I already told you! Go have a check-up! Give me the keys or else.

Jungkook: I don't know where the keys are and I thought you use your car when you went home?

Ji Yoo: Idiot, How am I suppose to go home using my car when all the keys are gone?

Jungkook: Nah.

I said and take off my shoes, she put it in the shoe rack and sat beside me.

Ji Yoo: Are you sure you don't want to have a check-up?

Jungkook: Yeah, it's not that I will die because of this.

Ji Yoo: Okay if you don't want to, I'll let your parents know.

She was about to dial their number but I grabbed her wrist before she press the green button.

Jungkook: Don't.

Ji Yoo: But they are your parents! At least let them know what is happening to you!

Jungkook: Even if I want to you should not call them because they would be totally worried and be like super protective if you tell them.

Ji Yoo: So what do you want me to do?

I hug her tight and she also hug me back but patting my back.

Jungkook: Can we stay like this for minutes until my heart calms down?

Ji Yoo: Of course.

We stayed on that position for minutes.
