This book is a sequel to my previous book "Game Over" I highly advise you read that book first before this one Thanks!---------------
The large meeting room was jam packed with countries, a selected few were invited here for a meeting. At least that's what the letter specified anyway.
No sender name, No reason, of course it was fishy even I knew that but it had the official stamp.
Whenever there's a meeting that will be issued, there will always be the official stamp that way countries will know if it's an actual meeting or not.
While all the others were blabbering nonsense in their native tongues I just sat there bored out of my mind.
Not all the countries were here, just a few. Wait no, it's actually quite a good amount but definitely not everyone.
The person in charge clearly wasn't here yet, it's already past the specified time in the letter. I swiftly pull out my letter that I folded neatly from the pocket in my pants.
2:30
I checked my watch, 2:47.
If they were to host a meeting then they should at least be on time.
"They're late," I tapped my foot impatiently while I turned my head over towards the country sitting next to me. The country next to me just let out a sigh.
"It's also really hot in here, global warming isn't helping much either eh?" I playfully nudged their arm with my elbow. They didn't respond. My face immediately grew into a frown.
"Might as well get a drink, you want one?" I offered, they gave me a slow nod. I walked over to the water dispenser at the corner of the room, it was the most crowded place in the entire meeting room.
The weather has been unbelievably hot lately, which is most likely caused by global warming.
I grab two red plastic cups and start filling it up with water, the gurgling sound of water echoed in my head.
How long left till all this water is gone? I pondered, I knew it was unavoidable but I tend to make up some false hope.
"America your cup is overflowing,"
I snapped out of my trance, "shit shit shit shit-" I stop the water and pour a little in a third cup to make the journey back to my seat a little less troublesome.
"Uh would you like the third cup?" I offered, it wasn't even half full but I didn't want to waste any water since its becoming scarce these days. "Sure,"
They grabbed the cup and chugged down the water in an instant, "I'm gonna head back," I cocked my head as if to wave good bye. My hands were full so I hope they didn't mind.
I plopped myself back down on my seat and slid over one of my two cups towards the country.
We just sat there staring off into space while occasionally taking a sip out of our plastic cups.
They also provided some food, most were our traditional food as a way to respect each country. Obviously I took a few, and gave some to the country next to me too.
3:29
Wow they were about to be an hour late, none of the other countries exited the meeting room though. I guess we were all thinking the same thing.
I don't get why I still bother going to these meetings, it's probably just another speech about global warming or whatever.
Suddenly the meeting door clicked open, my entire body felt light. Finally someone showed up! A large wave of heat brushed my skin.
