I was on the ground, carefully listening for any movements at all. The cold hard Pillar pressed against my back. The silent cackling sound of electricity from the broken wires rang in my ears.
Silent footsteps could be heard in the room, I couldn't tell where it came from though. "Oh (Y/N), stop hiding and let's get this over with!" Malaysia growled impatiently. "Please don't taint the floor with your blood either I wouldn't want it to get dirty."
Despite what he said I couldn't stop my leg from bleeding anyway. I just hope the floor is laminated. How did it lead to this?
Well, he activated his ability, apparently it was a tiger. More specifically a Malaysian tiger which is his national animal. How ironic but no time to dwell on it. He glanced over to me with yellow glowing eyes and pounced at me, then he started to slash around.
His slashes were so powerful that with one swipe, three large scratch marks cut right through the wall. I did my best to avoid all of them using the new ability I had gotten from my sister.
Come to think of it where is my sister? I hadn't seen her around for quite awhile, the last time I recall is during the China fight. Something did seem odd about her though.
Malaysia left his stomach wide open so I squeezed through a punch to the gut. He did tumble a little before immediately chasing me again.
Eventually one of his slashes reached my left foot which sent immediate pain throughout my body. I lost my balance and fell but not before ducking behind the pool table.
I prayed that he didn't catch but I'm guessing he most likely did. But to my surprise he started prowling around searching for me. Did he not see me? Well whatever that works better for me.
I made my way stealthily to a pillar, I finally caught my breath again. He was really fast, I didn't get a chance to use my techniques at all.
Malaysia uses his powerful legs to serve as a booster to pounce at his prey. Not only that but his stripes blended with the casino's surroundings. Navigating him will be quite a challenge.
I wanted to hide behind the arcade machines because they were much larger and thicker than this pillar but it was too far away.
Then Malaysia started destroying the arcade machines one by one. Never mind what I just said, I'm pretty glad to be behind a pillar. Rubble stewed across the floor.
I quietly ripped a part of my outfit to wrap my feeble legs. It was drowned in the crimson red color. The liquid dropped on the floor despite my best efforts to seal off the wound.
Besides that the pillar was blocking the lights so it was hard for me to see. This isn't the most convenient place to me but I can't really be picky right now can I?
I wish none of this has happened, I only came here out of full concern for everyone here and now they're attempting to kill me. Still I am quite grateful to EU or NATO or UN or whoever changed the appearance of this world.
At least I have more options now, I am worried that they may be hurt or held hostage somewhere by another member of the opposing team.
Another question is would any of this effect the country and their people? Would these people also have powers like their country or not? I'm guessing not though.
I mean America is now a shadow octopus thing thing yet it has no effect to me. But I'm pretty sure something is happening here, I just need to see the bigger picture.
Unfortunately life doesn't have any signs that point towards the answer I'm searching for. I have to work my way there with just sheer hard work and some luck. Quite lacking in the luck department though in all honesty.
Oh how I longed to just sit in my cozy chair at home while indulging myself in a book. Seriously though my leg is killing me if it's not already. I wish he could have a taste of his own medicine!
Wait
I just got an idea, if he relies quite a lot on his legs then if only I could immobilize him then I can work my way from there.
I start rapidly searching around me, then I see a few Darts In a good range from me. I grab them, then I aim them at the Malaysia while he was busy.
I pricked my finger on the dart to make sure it works, then red liquid started forming on my finger. Yep it's working let's just get this over with.
I really hope he doesn't have any hard feelings. I threw a dart at him and he jumped in surprise and pain. Then I threw the 6 other darts in the same way.
He ended up distracted for a second, I took the chance and picked myself up with every ounce of my strength and grab a nearby cue stick and stab his leg.
He screamed in agony and dropped to the ground, I Stab his other leg too, you can never be too sure with these countries. His breathing hitched and I started violently coughing.
He glanced upwards to face me and I glanced downwards to face him. "Go ahead," he simply placed it. He pointed at the elevator to the next floor with his chin. "Why did you go easy on me?"
He was silent for awhile...
"I did not," he glared at me. "Tell me the truth!" I exclaimed with a 'none of your bullshit' expression plastered on my face. He bit his bottom lip before letting out a long deep sigh.
"Well Indo said he was super excited to fight you, he wouldn't let you heal your wounds so I went first to ensure that, I went easy on you so you can fight my brother."
"Thank you, you're a kind brother," I genuinely smiled at him despite him trying to kill me just a few seconds ago.
Of course the happy moment didn't last forever.
