We sat there as the seconds ticked by, I was Injured, Russ was tired not to mention drained from his energy and Indo is still unconscious.

We both carried him and placed him on a safer place to rest which is basically just on a chair. But we did make sure to chain him up to the seat so he couldn't come after us again.

The lights of the room flickered, Indo had broken a few beyond repair but who was I to care.

I ended up finding a few vodka bottled from under the counter so I handed it over to Russ seemingly because he seemed moody without it.

He seemed pissed, I guess it was understandable. After all suddenly you're helping a girl that's being hunted by power wielding countries. Not a usual sight to see.

Still though why was he helping me? By now I've learned to be doubtful when it comes to people being nice, especially if they have powers. Was this a scheme?

"So the abilities correspond to a country's personality or status or basically anything related to them right?" I turned over to the tipsy Russian. "I guess so? I still don't know why I have this ability though I don't think it's related to my country at all."

"Maybe it's because you're..."

"All over the place."

Russia looked at me with a disgusted look, "Ok boomer," he sipped his vodka once more. "Wait wait who the hell taught you that word?"

"America did duh, well at least before something happened to everyone including him and yeah this.." his expression darkened. I did kind of feel him though, his friends are all suddenly acting weird. Who wouldn't be worried?

We sat in silence for awhile, the only thing making any noise was the clinking of vodka bottle. "Why would they want to kill you though?"

"That's what I'd like to know.." I heaved out a long sigh. I scooted over to the nearest stool to him. "I-I uh hope you're taking all this fine."

He gave me warm smile and a pink tint started to form on his cheeks. "Yeah thanks."

"You're not trying to kill me or anything right?" I raised an eyebrow. "No why would I? I don't know what got into them though, even if I have an ability like they do I'm not evil please believe me."

He turned over to face me with a sincere look, fake or not? It's hard to tell, in a world like this you have to expect the unexpected. I wouldn't be surprised if Russia was actually a traitor honestly.

"Ok sure.." I trailed off, I guess he kind of got the message that I didn't fully trust him so he just stopped interacting with me. "Well uh, I'm gonna hit the hay, see you tomorrow for the next stage I guess." I waved goodbye at him, I made my way to a sofa that was luckily still intact.

Probably because it was at the edge of the room. Russia still stayed silent, I really hoped that he would reply but I guess that's what I get for not being careful.

The endless black field sang a silent melody that resonated like water ripples on a silent rainy day. The ground started to take form of grass, still black though.

"Hello? Amber?" I called out to her hoping for an answer, I really wanted some comfort from my sister right about now. "I'm right here," I whipped my head around and my sister magically appeared behind me.

God I can never get used to it. "It's been rough and I'm tired, what do I do sis?" I ran my hand through my (H/C) hair. "It's okay, you'll get through it," I analyzed my sister. I guess it just a habit to analyze everything now.

She looked exactly the same but something about her was different. I guess she just seems more mature now and comforting. Usually she's childish and easily bored. I guess it's nice seeing this side of her.

"You're doing great so far, just keep going, you'll make it through somehow," there was a hint of uncertainty in her voice. "I hope so," tears formed in my eyes, I don't know how much I can take.

It's a lot of stress already as it is, I really just want everything to go back to normal. The world unfortunately does not work the way you want, it just keeps changing, whether for good or bad we may never know.

"Have you ever wondered what would've happened if we never met?" She suddenly mentioned. I looked over to her with tear filled eyes. "I'm pretty sure it would've been better like that."

No. Something is wrong. My sister would never say that. Not in the nine circles.

"Who are you?" I slowly retreated backwards, "I'm your sister what are you talking about?" She reaches out to me. I flinched and jumped back.

She slowly retreated her hand, her complexion was perplexed and she stared at me gloomily. This was my mind I get to do what I want.

Her frown turned into a neutral stare then into a smile. "How funny," she said nonchalantly.

Her eyes turned black as similar black liquid dripped from her eye sockets. Her smile grew wider and wider, the darkness seemed to engulf me. Her comforting amber red eyes were no more.

She lunged at me with an attack, I spawned in a gun. My mind my rules. I aimed it at her face and clicked the trigger. An ear splitting gun shot rang in my ears.

She was still standing in her previous position only frozen in time. A large hole appeared in her face where I shot her, like those holes you have when there's a chunk of glass missing.

Cracks formed around the holes and not only that I saw my sister in that hole. This time I knew it was her for real. She was all chained up to god know what. It seemed dark and lonely in there.

"Trust.. attached... trouble... warning... careful... run..." he voice glitched so I could only make out a few words. The hole in 'my sister's' face started to repair it self steadily.

Her hands clasped around my neck, she pulled me upwards, I struggled and screamed but all was useless. Her face eventually was back, the black eyes staring into my soul.

-------

I shot upwards at the nightmare I had experienced. I accidentally hit Russia's head because he was looking down at me from above. "Ouch, I was gonna wake you up but I guess that's not necessary anymore." He rubbed the area where I hit him.

"Oh shit sorry I just... never mind let's go," I get off the couch and walk over to the elevator. "Fine.." he said with a tinge bit of concern in his voice, I knew he knows something happened but I seriously don't wanna tell him anything.

I traced my hand around my neck where she grabbed onto. On my neck were marks of when she choked me. Somehow the effects appeared in the real world, I have to be careful next time.

I press the elevator button to get to what may be the death of me.
