Jeongin played with his sweater sleeve as he waited for everyone.

He felt a presence next to him and he looked over to see one of the boys from the lunch table "Hey-"

"Innie!"

Jeongin looked over and smiles. He runs over to Chan to hug him tightly. "Sorry I'm late, Berry wouldn't give me my shoe," Chan says as he hugged Jeongin back. Jeongin looks up at them and nods his head.

Felix exited his car and closed the door. He saw the others and walked over to them. Jeongin hugging him tightly and Felix smiles. He looked around then at Chan. "Doctors appointment." Felix frowns. "Yeah, I know. You'll get used to this though. He has one every three weeks cause his mom wants answers," Chan says rolling his eyes.

Felix looks at Hyunjin and signs, what happened with Changbin? Hyunjin sighs and signs back, ask Changbin. It's not our place. Felix nods his head and turns to Seungmin who was looking around while holding Hyunjin's hand.

Felix walked over and Seungmin looked at him with a smile. Library? Felix asks. Yeah. Seungmin replies and they walk inside.

Changbin picked at the hole in his jeans as he waited for the nurse. His mom was inside but she wasn't really paying attention to him.

Changbin thought back to when he woke up in the place he was in now.

He was utterly confused as to why his mom was crying when he woke up. Was she crying that her husband was taken away from her or was she crying because her son had lost his visions.

To him, it was probably because her lover was taken from her. Changbin was over the moon happy when he was informed he was taken into police custody. The man may have been the reason he was living in the world but he was also the reason his vision was gone temporarily.

The door opened and Changbin sighed.

"Hello Changbin," the nurse says as she stands directly in front of him. Changbin looks up at her. "Hello," he says.

"Have you been taking your medicine?"

Changbin stared at what he assumed was still the ground before speaking.

"Kinda."

The nurse's eyebrows furrow and his mother's eyes narrow. "Why?" She asks. Changbin shrugs his shoulders and picked at his jeans again. The nurse frowns and continues asking Changbin questions before leaving.

"Changbin, is that boy you've been hanging out with?" His mother asks. Changbin clenched his fist at his mother's tone.

He knew she was talking about Felix.

"What about him?" Changbin asks. "Well, ever since you've meet him you've stopped taking your medication?" She asks. "Can you leave him out of this?" Changbin asks. His mother scoffs. "Wh-"

"Don't ask why. You know the god damn answer," Changbin snaps at her causing her to go quiet. "So-"

"Sorry won't cut it, mom," Changbin says, stressing the word mom, "Sorry won't cut for anything."

The appointment at the hospital took longer since he had to be checked.

His eyes, blood, and made sure the drugs that his father had given him 2 months ago weren't affecting his brain, which it wasn't.

"Everything seems fine," the nurse says. "How much longer?" Changbin asks. The nurse sighs. "I don't know. Soon possibly," she says. Changbin nods his head and they leave.

Ms. Lee lifts her head up from her book at the sound of knocking from the front door.

She stood up after closing her book and walked over. She placed her hand on the handle but stopped. She didn't have a good feeling about it.

"Who is it?" She asks. "It's me," her heart dropped at the sound of the voice.

"W-What are you going here? How did you find me?" She asks, horrified by how her sicko of an ex-husband found her and her son.

"Baby, I'll always find you. We're meant to be."

Felix's eyebrows furrow at his mom's text. "What's wrong?" Hyunjin asks since he was waiting for Seungmin.

Felix looked at him and signed. I gotta walk home. My mom couldn't pick me up. Hyunjin's mouth forms an 'o'. Well, you should get going. See you tomorrow. Hyunjin signs back.

Felix nods his head and hugs the older before leaving. Felix was worried about Changbin since he wasn't at school the whole day. Although, Chan reassured him that he was at a doctor's appointment.

But all day? Felix may have his fair share of appointments but they're never all day. But then again, Changbin is temporarily blind so having long appointments is frequent. Felix mentally notes he needs to get used to if he's going to be here more frequently.

Felix's home came into view and he smiles. He walks over and opened the door. He walked inside and closed it slipping off his shoes.

He turned towards the living room and he felt like the world decided to play soccer with his heart. In the living room...sat his mom...cuddled against his hell of a father.

The man looked at Felix with a smile. "Hello, son."

A sick feeling ran through Felix's body as he stared at the man with anger, frustration, and every emotion you could think of that explained hatred.
