Felix looked around, biting his bottom lip out of nervousness. He cleared his throat and turned to everyone.

"Have you guys seen Changbin?" Felix asks in a whisper. Chan shakes his head. "No, I heard someone came home from him last time I hung out with him," Chan says. "When was that?" Felix asks. "Yesterday. He didn't say if he was...oh there he is."

Felix turns his head to see Changbin, though a little upset. Felix stood up and walked over. He grabbed Changbin's hand who allowed himself to be lead to the table.

"Hey, Bin, what took you so long?" Chan asks. "Parents wouldn't hurry up," Changbin grumbles. Felix frowns but smiles when Changbin lays his head, comfortably on his shoulder. "When's your next doctor's appointment?" Chan asks, "I can take you."

Changbin smiles. "Today, actually. It's after school too." Chan smiles at him. "Okay."

School ended and Chan leads Changbin to his truck after saying their goodbyes. "Anything happened with your vision?" Chan asks. "Yeah. I've been able to see my room," Changbin explains as he climbs into the car.

Chan walks to the driver's side and gets in, buckling in. "Really?" Chan asks. "Yeah...you think I'll be able to see again?" Changbin asks. "You have hope, right?" Chan asks as he drives out of the parking lot. "Yeah, of course, I do. Just...now I'm a tiny bit nervous and a little scared," Changbin says, playing with his rings. "Why are you scared? You're usually never scared."

Changbin sighs. "You wanna know who's back at my house?" Changbin asks. "Yeah," Chan says. "It's my dad," Changbin says. "Oh, that's-"

"Hyung...he's the reason I'm blind. I haven't told you the story yet," Changbin says, stopping Chan. "Short story," Chan says. "I was working on a music project when he gave me water. I didn't know if anything was in there but I should've known. He put a drug in there that caused my vision to go away temporarily," Changbin explains. "If I didn't drink it, I wouldn't have been having 25 thousand doctor appointments."

Chan pats his arm. "It's not your fault, Bin. Mistake happen. You know that" Chan says, trying to make the younger happy.  "But...you don't make big mistakes," Changbin says. "Bin. You don't know how many times I've left Jeongin alone for too long. I came back to find him crying and clutching the necklace I gave him two years ago."

Changbin looks at him since he knew where his voice was coming from. "Why is he so attached to you?" Changbin asks. "Cause his parents neglected him so much it was difficult for him to actually find a reason to be here. He tried to...you know, one day. I was on the way back from a store when I stopped him," Chan explains and Changbin grew a frown. "Dang," Changbin said and Chan hummed. "Yeah, he's doing better but his separation is the worse," Chan says and Changbin nodded. "How long can you leave him?"

"Barely an hour."
