This Chapter is a flashback on how Saiki proposed!!

"It's really weird for you to ask me on a date." I said as we walked through the park, hand in hand.

"Its not that weird." He argued and I smiled.

"Maybe." I answered and lay my head on his shoulder as we continued our walk through the park.

We ended up in the middle of the park where there was a large lake and a pagoda in the middle of it. I noticed no one was around.

Saiki led me to the pagoda and I saw a table inside and 2 chairs. He had me sit in one of the chairs and he sat opposite of me. Then Layla showed up with her phone and played some music and left her speaker on the side as it played music. Kayla then appeared with a bag of takeout from Uncle Soma's place. I smiled as she also turned on the fake candles on the table with a switch under it. She then left and Saiki laid out the food on the table.

I turned my gaze to Saiki and noticed he had put on a nice looking jacket while I was distracted. "Something special today?" I asked as he sat back down.

"Not really." He said softly and I smiled reaching over to hold his hand which was trembling slightly.

He looked down at my hand and held it tightly. "Lets eat first." He said and I agreed.

As I ate my food, I noticed Saiki was oddly fidgeting and kept looking at me, then my hand.

"You look great." He said suddenly.

"Thanks." I replied. I was wearing a striped shirt and shorts with a red plaid flannel tied around my waist.

The silence was odd as we continued eating.

When we finished, Kayla came and swept our trash into a bag and took away the table. Layla then came and changed the song and left.

Saiki got onto his feet and brought me to the side of the pagoda and I lay my hands on the railing and looked over the water at the slight ripples made by fishes and smiled at the calming surroundings.

I felt arms wrap around my waist and a head on my shoulder. I turned my head slightly seeing Saiki. "Kusuo?" I asked and he stared at me.

"Close your eyes." He said.

"Alright?" I said and closed my eyes. He let me go from the hug.

"I love you." He said and I was surprised. I mean, we've said it before, but not in this kind of atmosphere. "I'm... I... me.." he stuttered.

I kept my eyes closed and slowly reached out, finding one of his hands. I grasped it and held it between both of mine and kissed his fingers. "Kusuo, take your time." I said to him.

I felt his other hand on my cheek and I heard some shuffling. He held my left hand and I felt him raise it up, and face my palm upwards. He placed something cool and round on my palm. "Y-you can look.." he said.

I opened my eyes and looked down at my hand.

I smiled at the beautiful ring. "It's not.. a diamond ring that most people get, and this wasn't a fancy sappy proposal... but... will you marry me?" He asked me.

I smiled and picked up the ring and grabbed his hand and he looked at me with confusion and fear. "Put it on." I smiled at him giving him my hand.

"So, yes?" He asked and I smiled nodding.

"Yes, I'll marry you." I said and he smiled slipping the ring onto my finger and wrapped his arms around my waist and hugged me. I wrapped my arms around him and he breathed out a sigh of relief.

"You're adorable." I whispered into his ear and kissed his cheek.
