Terrence POV
"Check" mom said
We were currently playing chess
She was very much good at it, my goal was to beat her but I failed miserably each time
"Hmmm" I moved my king to 1A
"Checkmate" she said shouting and did a victory dance causing me to laugh
"Chill mom, it's not your first win" I chortled
"Well it feels good to always win"
We played one more game and she won again
I made sure to make the right moves on the current game we were now playing
"So are you going to change your wardrobe?" She asked her eyes twinkling
Mom wanted me to drop my sponsor student cover and show who I really am at school
She concluded that changing my wardrobe would be the first thing to fix, I know what she was after
Mom always like playing doll with people and changing their appearance from retarded to hot model mode
She loved shopping, buying me clothes would be fun by the looks of how she was looking at me right now
"I wanted to get her like this mom ...if I change my wardrobe she might like me for money or looks"
Her face dropped
"Okay ... shopping would've really been fun though, it'd get my mind off of this whole cheating drama" she said looking sad
"You can still shop for me" I said smiling and all of the sudden her face lit up again earning a chuckle from me
"Your mood switches are too much mah" I shook my head
"Pregnancy Hormones" she said rolling her eyes
She couldn't help but smile
"Pregnancy?"
We both looked at the direction of the voice and mom smiled nodding her head
Teresa dashed towards mom and hugged her
"Are you really pregnant mom? ...is that why you were at the hospital?" Resa asked
"Yes honey" she said hugging Teresa back "you're getting a little brother or sister"
"Why didn't you tell dad then" she asked breaking the hug making me frown
"I'm mad at him right now ...he accused me of cheating" she looked way
"Please talk to him Mah, he's looking scary and this fight is just ...too much" Teresa said
"Two days is a little bit too much" she sighed "I'll talk to him when he gets home okay"
Teresa nodded
"Do you think he's ready to talk?" I asked
"He's been always on the edge for the past two days because I'm sleeping here, I know he'd do anything for us to get back to normal"
"But his accusation" Resa pointed out
"It's going to be okay honey, don't worry" was all mom said ending the discussion

Dad got home in the evening around four when were having tea in the dining
He went straight upstairs and got back ten minutes later all freshened up and sat on the couch in the living room, he leaned his head on the couch looking up the ceiling
"Mom" I whispered signalling her to go and talk to him
She glanced at dad before looking back at us
"Come with me" she said
I frowned not understanding why we had to come along
"I'll have to tell him everything and you need to be there ...just in case he acts up"
We nodded and stood up following her to the living room
Mom walked and sat slowly next to dad as we sat opposite them
There was an awkward silence, not a single soul made a sound. We have never been together and be this silent before, this circumstance could say otherwise
"I'm tired ...I'm tired of all this" Dad sighed "I'm sorry ...just come back babe" I sat upright and looked at her "I got blinded with anger again, I know deep down Terrence was right but I was just too proud to see it all" he said taking mom's hand "this fight is driving me crazy, I'm sorry ...I'm sorry I should've understood you from the start"
"It's okay" mom said
I felt relieved that dad was the one who started the whole conversation, things were going right for once
"Will you tell me where you went then?" He focused his attention to her
Mom looked into his
I don't know about Teresa but I felt third wheel with the way our parents were looking at each other
I wish I'd have someone look at me like that, somebody who wouldn't leave me even when I was acting up

"I wasn't feeling okay lately so I went to the hospital but I couldn't go alone ...that's why J-jordan escorted me" she said fear flashing a little in her eyes when she mentioned uncle Jordan's name
"I-i could've gone with someone else but he was the only one available at the moment ...when I got there ...i met the doctor... after our convo he got my blood for testing and... and... he ummm"
"He what?" Dad asked eager to hear mom's next words
Mom stayed silent
Looking at her expectantly and serious Dad asked again "tell me ...he what?"
"H-h-he ..he said that ...I ummm I"
Dad sighed looking like he was controlling himself from bursting, he breathed in and out and looked at her "what did he say?"
Mom looked at us then Dad and smiled tears threatening to fall
"Baby what's wrong?" He cupped her cheek "what did the doctor say?"
"We're having another baby" mom said little tears flowing down with smile
Dad's eyes widened, he looked surprised
A happy surprise if that exists, he looked at us and we had bright smiles on our faces
For the first time in days Dad's lips turned to a very big smile, a smile very big I've never seen him smile like that before
He hugged mom, lifted her off her feet and spin her around causing us to laugh
We both stood laughing and smiling as he put her down
"So you're not mad?" Mom asked him
"Why would I be babe?" He chuckled
"Y-you said you only wanted two-"
"I don't mind having more children with you baby" he smiled cupping her cheek with his left hand "we can have five or even ten if you want" he said pulling her close by the waist with his right arm
"Ronald the kids" she whispered
"How do you think they made it here" he smirked leaning down to capture her lips
That's how everything got back to normal
We had supper together and it was the most coolest supper we had, we joked, laughed, and every fun thing you could do on the dining table
This baby was a lucky charm, a good to our family, happiness to our family, and every good thing ever existing
I couldn't wait for my lil bro or sis to join us
