Terrence POV

What happened on the last day of school opened my eyes, it made me see truth and made me understand why my sister didn't like her

Funny, my sister hadn't even met her

My mom was even reluctant on telling me to go ahead with her

I was very blind

I forgave her for insulting me
I forgave her for humiliating me

I refused to sulk about things that happened in the past, that's what our parents taught us. If we couldn't change it then worrying about it was as good as useless

I moved on

"Terrence"

I flinched before looking at the person who called me. I must've zoned out

Mrs Tia stood at my bedroom door

"Are you okay" Mrs Tia asked with a concerned face

"You've been zoning out quite a lot since you closed school, it's beginning to worry me"

She was worried, the tone in her voice said it all

"I'm fine aunt ...just some school issues ...it'll go away" I smiled

It was really fine, I guess. Well not entirely, Mrs Tia wasn't lying about me living in my thoughts more than usual

I was very guilty of that fact

But was it because of Aimee? No it wasn't, it was because of another girl that creeped into my life and made my mind home

I couldn't stop thinking about the girl that helped me that day, her cute face constantly flashed in my mind and I'd recall all the times we encountered

"Terrence"

I looked up, she frowned earning a smile from me

"Your sister looks the same downstairs, are you sure you're all okay?"

"Yea we fine" I responded standing up "trust me we are"

"Hmm"

I gave her a convincing smile as I approached her

"I don't have anything to do, do you want any help in the kitchen?" I asked putting my hands on her shoulders

I turned her around and led her outside my room entering the hallway

"Don't you have those cartoons with big eyes to watch?" she teased the anime in my laptop

"Mmmm I'm on break" I chuckled

We reached the stairs and I guided her down the steps

She was old and strong but I couldn't help taking extra care of her sometimes

"Well I'll see what you can do ...come on let's take Teresa on the way"

We reached the bottom and found Teresa looking in open space, she seemed to be thinking

"Hey" I said

She was startled at the sound of my voice, she looked towards our direction a second later and smiled

"Yea"

"Uh.. aunt we'll find you there alright?" I said tapping her shoulder

"Alright" she smiled and made her way to the kitchen while I walked in the living room and sat next to my sister

"You okay?" I asked

"Yea I am" she said and looked at me "why?"

"You don't seem fine to me"
