17. Ballad ~ We Brace Ourselves To Ride The Storm Again

498 10 3

Clouded eyes see beauty clear

Thunder claps and mouth agasp

Whispering winds find inner ear

Tornado spins, hands tightly grasp

Volcanoes heat the atmosphere

Volcanoes heat the atmosphere

Love finds passion, tender lips

Lightening strikes, knees disassemble

Touch finds bliss on fingertips

As the Earth quakes, our bodies tremble

Beating hearts are joined eclipsed

Oh beating hearts are joined eclipsed

Breath is ragged, lungs a pounding

Amidst the burning forest fire

That shall subside upon the drowning

Tidal waves that flood desire

It leaves us panting as we're frowning

Yes it leaves us panting as we're frowning

Through the hurricane walls we came

The weather vane is stilled, relaxed

Storms eye serene, all soft and tame

Yet still we have not reached climax

We brace ourselves to ride the storm again

Oh we brace ourselves to ride loves storm again
