JOKES

Jokes are meant to be funny,
Why do these hurt me?
They're supposed to make us laugh,
But why do I keep saying "Enough!"

People tell jokes to cheer people up,
But to me, I just want them to stop.
And then instead of laughing,
I always end up crying.

Why does it have to be like this?
Can't I just laugh at peace?
I can't laugh nor even smile,
I just want to feel it even just for a while.

I don't want hearing any puns,
They lead me to pain, where my mind runs.
I listened to his "I love you" as he spoke,
But then in the end, he told me it was only a joke.
