DARE

You were barely my friend,
Until one day someone gave a dare.
A dare where we would pretend,
We're lovers that show love and care.

Days, weeks, and months came,
We became serious and ended the game.
You became mine and I, your own.
My love for you had completely grown.

Then it came to the day,
When you became cold to me.
You've changed your way,
I miss the day when you were lively.

I then thought about the dare,
Did you really love me? Did you even care?
It gives me pain that you may not love me anymore,
But I still love you even if you already closed your door.
