What I want for my day,
Is just a simple thing.
For those who didn't stay,
Please send me a greeting.
Please just remember me,
Just this once, on that day.
I want you to tell me,
Just once, "Happy Birthday".
Gifts are not what I want,
Instead it's you, you know.
You are that important,
I'll wait before I blow.
I really want my friends,
To greet me just this once.
Nothing more, nothing less,
And thank you in advance.
