Hey, guys! Not a new chapter, but it's something I think is really important. As you all know, it's Halloween today, which is quite a terrifying holiday for someone with an eating disorder. I, personally, have a restrictive eating disorder, bulimia and sometimes I binge and then purge (in my case I throw up). I just want anyone who has trouble with eating to know that it's okay to eat sweets and chocolate. It's okay to eat something that you enjoy. You are NOT going to gain weight from eating chocolate and sweets for one or a few days. Trust me, it's not easy, but it's so worth it. Show your eating disorder that it doesn't own you. I've already eaten a few bits of chocolate and I'm keeping it down. I'm going to snuggle up and watch horror movies and eat popcorn and more chocolate if I want to Because I am NOT letting my eating disorder tell me I can't.
