Chapter 6

I just lay there on my bed......newly bleeding cuts on my wrists....and listening to my parents fight....I was to weak to move.

"JUST GET OUT" my mother screamed

"WE DISCUSSED THIS I CAN'T" he screamed back

"I DON'T CARE ANYMORE I CAN'T STAND BEING NEAR YOU" she screamed and I heard something being thrown

"THEN WHY DON'T YOU FREAKING LEAVE" he screamed back with so much anger in his voice.

"FINE" she screamed back

Fine......did she just say fine.......I waddled out of bed and down the stairs......I don't be leave this.....it can't be happening...

When I got down the stairs my mother was just standing there by the front door with her suit case....

"Mom???" I said

She just looked at me.....she had so much pain and sorrow in her eyes.....then she shook her head and walked out the door.

My dad ran over to the window and saw my mom get in a car and drive off

She's gone......I don't know if I should be happy because the fighting I'd finally over.....or sad.....she is my mother.

I turned to look at my dad.....he had an inferno burning inside of him.....it scared me....

Then he turned and looked me straight in the eyes.

"THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT" he said stumbling over to me. " SHE IS GONE BECAUSE OF YOU....WE DIDN'T WANT YOU.....WE LOVED YOUR SKSTER MORE THAN YOU....YOU SHOULD OF BEEN THE ONE TO DIE....NOT MELODY.....SHE WAS BETTER THAN YOU IN EVERY WAY.....YOU ARE JUST DIRT" he screamed as he spit on me

I just ran......ran away from him.....from that house..it was hard from getting beat up earlier.......but he hurt me.....but it is all true.....I didn't deserve to be here.....Melody was way better than me.....she was a cheerleader before she was diagnosed......and what am I......just a loser that nobody loves...

I was wondering around outside.....I reached the park....I just sat down on a bench....and pulled out my phone....I went throu every text....... Every text that was in my phone.

From all the crap Braylan has sent me.....down to today and what Leroy sent me...nobody did love me.......my sister was the only one.....the only one that loved me.....and now she is gone....never to be seen again

I felt little tears form in my eyes.....I tried to hold them in.....

Then I looked round.....it was pitch black.....I couldn't even see my legs......then I heard rusteling coming from the grass....then I heard a voice

"Hey mind if I sit" the stranger asked me....I could tell it was a guy from his husky voice.

"Um yea go ahead" I replied....I couldn't make out who it was....all I could see was a dark figure.

"What brings you out here at this time of night" he asked

"You wouldn't care.....nobody cares" I replied

"How do you know I won't care if you have never asked me..." He stated

"Fine......I'm just worthless dirt" I said still trying to hold n the sobs

" You don't look like dirt to me" he replied

I started to laugh "it's because you can't see me" I stated with little chuckles

"So....nobody is worthless....everybody Is worth something.....you may not know what you are worth until you stand up.....you have to show people that you are worth." He told me s he scooted closer and placed his hand on my shoulder

"But nobody loves me" I told him

"Sombody always loves someone....I bet there is a person out there that lves you"

"My own father told me that I'm dirt and I should of died and people at school remind me everyday that Im better off dead" I said as I couldn't hold in the sobs anymore.

He was silent...all he was doing was holding me as I sobbed....I didn't even know this guy...and I was telling him everything.

Then he spoke up "no body deserves to die.....everybody has a reason that they are on this earth...including you....I bet you will do great things....you are of worth Leah....you are"

Leah....did he just say my name....does he know me.....

I just shook it off that he said my name and continued to cry into his lap as he held me....I couldn't help but drift off in the strangers arms.
