The next several days went by peacefully, as everyone got used to Avis being their leader at Prentice International. Jaycen and Aubrey were reconnecting as Aubrey prepared to record his demo with Trey. Leslie made it his duty to keep the peace between Avis and Talia, although he found Talia to be no threat. Friday came and everyone was hopeful that the weekend would be as peaceful as their work week. Avis had agreed to have meet with Shemar Lincoln, the current lead model and face of his fashion company to talk about his future with Priceless. Priceless was an Atlanta based fashion house that Alexis had started under the umbrella of Prentice International fifteen years ago. She was always about fashion and beauty for men and women. The legend was that Alexis had began an affair with her lead designer and Jonathan had found out. He had some of his goons beat the man severely almost killing him, and then sent Alexis into exile in South America. She remained there for years, until the news of Jonathan's illness became public and then she returned to his side as he succumbed to his untimely death.

Alexis went into overdrive settling her husband's affairs and preparing to reap the benefits of being his wife. She was not present at the original reading of the will, therefore she didn't get to see the look of satisfaction on her son Jared's face when it was revealed that he would be the new CEO and chairman of the board at Prentice International. After the reading, Alexis was informed of her fate. Jonathan had left her a seat on the board of directors, the Prentice condominium complex in Puerto Rico and enough money to live the rest of her life with. But, what Alexis wanted the most she didn't receive. Priceless was not returned to her and Jared made no attempt to follow through with his plans to give the company back to his mother.

When Jonathan's codicil was read, all of Jared's plans were null and void. The codicil ensured that the only person that would ever be able to make decisions about Prentice International and its many subsidiaries would be the new CEO and chairman of the board, 52% shareholder Avis.

Avis walked confidently down the seventh floor hallway of Priceless towards the room where the all of the photo shoots took place. Shemar had asked that Avis meet him there for their meeting. As Avis neared the room, he heard "Runaway (Toast To The Douche bags)" playing loudly. He laughed softly as he reached the door and opened it slowly. As he stood in the doorway, Shemar was staring out the huge window out at the city. It was late afternoon, so the sun had gone down and the city of Atlanta was stirring getting ready for all the adventures of it's famous nightlife. Shemar was wearing a beige Armani tuxedo with matching beige shoes. As Avis walked into the room, he turned to look at him. Avis' breathed slowly as he stared at this marvel of a man. He had seen pictures and video of Shemar, but they didn't do him justice by a long shot. Shemar was thirty-two years old, six-foot-two, 198-pounds of muscle with the most beautiful mocha chocolate skin that Avis had ever seen. He smiled slightly at Avis and Avis knew that this meeting was going to be difficult to handle professionally.

Avis walked over to Shemar and shook his hand. Shemar's skin felt like a baby's bottom. Avis smirked because he knew that Shemar must've used his looks to get through his entire life, but he was going to be the one to challenge him to be more than just a handsome face.
