Heidi's POV

I smile weakly at Chet as I look down at Henry who is love with his new toy, "Thank you for the toy, but I really need to go." I open the doors to the dorm walking inside only for Chet to follow me, "Have you started writing your song for choir class?" Chet asks making his way next to me, "No actually, I haven't had time." Chet moves himself in front of me making me stop in my tracks, "What has you so nervous?" Chet asks as I look up into his eyes, "I don't know what is going on with me to be honest, I was nasty to my mom and I attacked my brother." Chet looks at me with a shocked expression,

Ever since Hayden split us into two separate people everything in me has gotten more intense." Chet nods his head leaning against the staircase and I can't believe how easy it feels for me to open up to Chet, "Sounds like you are trying to find yourself again but you are having trouble with the balance between the Isle side of you and the Auradon side of you." I look at Chet surprised about the psychological talk that is coming from him, "Do you have any idea how it feels like your life is falling apart and you can't pick up the pieces fast enough?" Chet takes a deep breath placing his hand on his whip,

"It makes sense what you are going through Heidi, your whole life you felt like you were walking on eggshells and you adapted this tough girl act when it was really Hayden, but now that she is gone you think that you need to carry everything on your own." Chet steps forward until we are only inches away from each other. "You need to play the part of Hero all the time Heidi. Believe me when I say that the world won't end if even for a moment you lost your composure and lived your life the way you want to." I must say that I see Chet is a completely different light, and I come to see that he is nothing like his father or sister.

"Since when did you become a therapist?" Chet laughs shrugging his shoulders, "I am not a therapist, but I can see certain things more clearly than others because my dad taught me a lot growing up, and people think he is crazy and a villain but if you really listen to what he says a lot of it is helpful advice." I guess Ben was right about never judging someone from who their parents are. "People try to be there for me but behind their facade I can see that they think I am going crazy again." Chet places his finger under my chin and tilts my head up as the two of us look into each other's eyes, "You're not crazy it is just your reality is just different than others." Chet says remixing one of his father's famous lines.

Chet looks from my eyes to my lips then back to my eyes, and he slowly leans forwards and right before our lips are about touch Henry starts talking making Chet and I come back to reality. "Saved by the baby." I say laughing lightly as I take a step back away from Chet who fixes his jacket and I can see how flustered Chet is, "Heidi, I know you don't remember but when we lived on the isle Hayden used to always come on to me and try to sleep with me, but I always turned her down because I knew that it wasn't the real you, and the reason I knew that was because anyone on the isle could tell that your heart belonged to Harry." I kiss Chet's cheek wanting him to know that I am thankful for him not falling for Hayden.

"You were the only one that saw Hayden for what she truly was." Chet places his hands in his pockets, "What's going on here?" A angry Scottish accent says and as I look up I see Harry looking down at Chet and I. "I was just talking to Chet about personal things." Harry makes his way down the stairs and up to Chet and I, "I think it is time you left mate." Harry snarls at Chet who steps up to Harry putting himself between Harry and myself with Henry, "Chet this isn't a good idea." Anyone from Auradon and from the Isle know that you never keep Harry from me.

"How is Audrey? I couldn't help but notice that the two of you have been spending a lot of time with each other." Harry grips Chet by his jacket as the two come face to face, "Did I hit a nerve or is there something going on between the two of you?" Chet pushes Harry away from him, "You're playing a dangerous game little kitty." Chet chuckles as he runs his hand through his hair, "I am not scared of some rejected pirate with coat hanger." Chet growls back and I can feel the tension between Harry and Chet getting more intense the longer the two are close to each other,

"I've killed people with this coat hanger, and unless you get out of my way you will be another victim I can add to my list." Chet doesn't move and this makes me look at Chet in surprise because usually by now a normal person would have bolted as far as they could get from Harry. "Shouldn't you be spending time with Pearl and your unborn child?" Harry looks down at the ground as his eyes darken a little, but suddenly Harry slams his hook against Chet's side of his face making Chet fall to the ground, "I warned you cat boy." Chet recovers and flips backwards landing on his feet,

"This is far from over pirate scum." Chet unwraps his whip from around him and snaps it on the ground, and to say that things escalated quickly would be understatement.
