Heidi's POV

"Nothing is going on with Chet and I, and what you walked in on was a friend comforting another friend."Harry chuckles and starts playing with his hook, "Any more comforter and our son would have been scarred for life." I rise my hand to slap him but before my hand can connect with his cheek Harry grips it with hook free hand, I warned you what would have happen if you ever raised your hand to me in a threatening manner." I stare at his hand trying to pull away but when Harry doesn't let go I start to panic, "LET ME GO!" I scream and suddenly I feel my eyes pulsate strongly then a second later Harry quickly removes his hand and starts shaking it, "WHAT THE HELL HEIDI! YOU JUST BURNED ME!" Harry screams out in pain and as I look closer at his hand I can see his whole hand is red and huge blisters are starting to form,

"I didn't mean to do that, I don't know how that happened Harry." I try to help but Audrey steps in front of me, "JUST STAY AWAY HEIDI!" Audrey yells and as I look at the scene in front of me I can't help but see myself and Hadie when we were little and dad would punish us, "You are doing more harm than good, just go before you hurt someone else." Hearing those words are like someone just stuck a dagger into my heart but the fear on Harry's face and the terrified expression on Audrey's face makes me start thinking that maybe I am no better than my dad. "I am sorry Harry." Harry just growls at me as Audrey takes Henry into her arms. I take a few steps back before turning around and running as fast as I can to get as far away from the people of Auradon as I can get.

I end up in the forest as I run until I need to stop and catch my breath, as I am catching my breath I hear the sound of rustling and the sound of twigs and other things snapping and breaking, "Hello!" I yell looking around to see who could possibly be this far out in the woods but I see no one. The sound of deep growling from behind me makes me slowly turn around and slowly out of the shadows comes the biggest wolf I have ever seen in my life, I mean this wolf has to be close to 7-foot-tall in height with pure white fur and a light blue streak down his back, and his very intense dark brown eyes zone in on me as he creeps closer to me, "STAY BACK!" I yell at the creature but it doesn't listen or seem afraid of me as he licks his lips snarling at me.

I don't want to hurt the poor thing but on the other hand it is either defend myself or be eaten, I feel my eyes pulsate again only this time the ground in front of me bursts into flames almost like a barrier between me and this wolf, and I waste no time taking this opportunity and starting to run again. Once I am sure that I am far enough away from the wolf I take a few deep breaths, "Every time I come into these woods something weird happens." I say out loud to myself as I finish catching my breath. I am not slowly walking through the woods racking my brain for answers about what is happening to me, but I am snapped out of my thoughts by the sounds of a voice that I haven't heard in what feels like a long time, "Heidi, are you okay?"

I let out a breath of relief when I see Mark dressed in a blue beanie on his head, a light blue sleeveless hoodie, his blue jeans look old and ragged with all rips and holes in them, and he has blue sneakers with white laces, "Mark? How did you know where I was?" Mark looks at me and I remember who I am talking to, "I haven't seen you in months." Mark nods his head as he sits down on a fallen tree, "Things have been peaceful in Auradon, but form the look in your eyes I would say that things aren't as peaceful for you." I let out a laugh thinking that Mark had no idea but then again maybe he does. "Did you see a huge wolf at all?" Mark gives me a puzzled look already telling me the answer to my question,

"There is only one wolf in our history, but to my knowledge he lives in Devilwood Forest far north of the isle of the lost, and I can only assume that he never had children." I have never heard of Devilwood Forest but the name sounds familiar,"Your other half Hayden knows that forest all too well I am afraid." That would explain why the name sounds familiar to me. "What is troubling you Heidi?" Mark asks crossing his arms over his chest, "I feel like I am going insane Mark, I am losing control of my powers and doing things that I don't mean to do. I lose my tempter on my mom, I attack my brother, I burn Harry, and I almost get eaten by an imaginary wolf." Mark looks a concerned but still I find comforter with Mark being around,

"You are not insane Heidi, maybe since your separation with Hayden things have changed within you that you are not fully aware of yet, but on the other hand you need to think of the possibly that you might just be reacting to situations in ways that are custom to you, if you are this worried then perhaps you should talk to your father. After all Hades is a master when it comes to fire, and rather you want to admit it or not Heidi, you and your father are one in the same." I didn't want to hear that but Mark has never steered me wrong before and I can't believe he would start now.

"Listen Heidi, I know that there is a battle raging inside of you, and I urge you not to allow yourself to be taken over by evil." I am not sure what Mark is talking about but I know that his advice might be helpful somewhere down the line. "Thank you Mark." Mark smiles at me inclining his head, "Now, how about I escort you back to campus." I nod my head knowing that it is better to be with the son of Merlin then to take my chances alone again.
