Chapter 28: Darker and evil

Heidi's POV

I look at the group of people standing before me and they all have the same baffled look on their face as they take in the new and improved me. "What happened to you?" Uma asks looking me up and down as she tries to figure out what is going on. "Let me put it to everyone this way, I got tired of getting hurt and ridiculed." I say as I walk through the crowed and onto the steps of the dorm room, "A new attitude and new clothing isn't going to change who you are in your heart Heidi." Hadie says as he reaches to take my hand but I quickly pull away from him a raise the scepter towards him making him stop in his tracks,

"You stole the Maleficent's scepter?" Hadie asked backing away a little bit, "I AM DONE WITH MY HAPPY EVER AFTER GETTING RIPPED AWAY FROM ME!" I yell spinning around circle making everyone back away from me, "Nothing has been taken from you Heidi, you are just to consumed by evil to see your happily ever after is still in your reach." Uma tries to calm me down but I right now I could careless about Uma, she has made my life a living hell since I joined her and her stupid crew. "Go back to your chip shop Shrimpy." I growl at her before electrocuting her with blue electricity that is so powerful that Uma falls to her knees screaming in pain within seconds. "HEIDI! STOP!" Ella yells and I roll my eyes at her before blasting her with the scepter sending her flying more than half away across and crashing into Hops.

"I did everything that was asked of me and more, I always put Auradon and my friends ahead of myself and look what happened, Auradon has pushed me over the edge, and now it is time for me to push back." I snarl looking down and admiring the scepter, "Just talk to me Heidi, forget about everyone one else and focus on me." Harry says while Hadie and Ethan check on Uma and Ella. "You want to blame me for us breaking up when it was you that slept with Pearl and knocked her up, well consider me officially moved on." I spin the scepter around in my hand and hit Harry directly in his face knocking him down onto the ground.

"If you think this is bad then you have seen nothing yet because I am the only one that knows what The Descendants are truly up too, and since their plan can help me show everyone what darkness is really like and make all of Auradon along with everyone that wronged me feel the same pain I felt since Hayden split us up." Hadie growls at me as he lets out a breath of fire but before it is reach me and use the power of the scepter to protect me. "I just don't have the power of the scepter, I fused the power of Maleficent's scepter with the power of out father's ember, and these two powerful items have created something the like of nothing Auradon has ever seen." I start laughing my new evil laugh while I use the magic of the scepter to make Hadie slide backwards to join the others,

"I am down with being a hero because heroes only get you so far because you choose to play fair, but the villains don't have any rules." Hadie makes to his knees looking at him with sadness and wondering why I have chosen to go down this dark path and let my light flicker almost completely out. "I know the real you is in there somewhere Princess." Harry says trying to move towards me but I uses magic to force him to bend the knee. "You all are going to learn you shouldn't mess with the daughter of Hades, you shouldn't mess with someone that has the kind of power that I do." I feel my eyes pulsate as everyone screams in horror and pain which is music to my ears, "Heidi please stop before you do something that you will regret." Hadie screams through his pain and I release them from my gaze.

"There is a battle coming, and it will be a battle for the future, and once The Descendants and myself win. The future will be what he make it." Hadie makes it to his feet again and I groan wondering what it is going to take for him to give up on me and let me go. "You are my sister, and I know that you are hurting from all the hell that you have been though as of late, but Heidi this plan and what you are doing is not the answer." I growl at him as I raise the scepter towards him, "You know that you can't kill me squirt, I held you in my arms your first day on this earth, I have protected you the best I could all your life. But the truth is that I failed, I failed because I couldn't be there when you needed me the most in your life." I can feel tears in my eyes a Hadie gets closer to me,

"SHUT UP!" I scream at him using the power of the scepter to force him back but it doesn't work. "You have family and friends that love you and don't want to see you go to a place that you might not be able to come from." Hadie manages to make him way until he are face to face. "Think about Henry who needs his mom and not this evil rendering of her." Hadie reaches to touch me but I slam the bottom of the scepter down causing a mini earthquake to happen and as Hadie staggers and gets distracted it gives me the chance to vanish and keep moving on with my plan to fix the past once and for all and shape into what I want it to be.
