The next day, everyone from the Nekoma team arrived earlier than normal, besides Kenma and Kuroo which thought training was at the normal time.
It was 5.30am and everyone was very tired. Sounds of yawns filled the room. Morning training would usually start at 6.30am but today Yaku had a plan to get rid of the awkwardness between Kuroo and Kenma.
They were discussing about how to get Kuroo and Kenma back to normal. While they were planning Lev asked,
"what exactly did happen to them?"
"we are not quite sure, that's why we are going to find out..." Yaku replied.
~at 6.30am~
"おはよう (ohayo)" said the bedhead captain lazily.
Kuroo had a confused look on his face because everyone was already there in the gym stretching. He thought it was out of the norm for everyone, besides Yaku, to be earlier than him but he didn't think much of it. Everyone acted as if nothing happened, and Yaku threatened Lev because he knew that Lev might expose the secret plan.
Kenma was the last one the arrive in the gym and by that time everyone had finished stretching. Yaku asked Kenma,
"why are you so late? Don't you always walk to training with Kuroo?"
Kenma blushed furiously, shook his head and quickly walked away. Kuroo was unusually quiet too. Usually the two would be chatting away by now but today was different.
The whole team noticed the silence between them but they pretended like they didn't say anything about it.
The training went on with the normal drills they did everyday and they also played a match too. Kuroo was in charge of splitting teams and the captain put Kenma on the other team. Everyone thought that was kind of weird because Kuroo usually put Kenma on the same team as himself.
What they didn't know was Kuroo's intentions of placing Kenma on the opposing team...
