Coming Out to Draco

You are Draco's sister

After months of experimenting, and coming to terms with it, I've decided that today, I was going to come out to my older brother, Draco, as lesbian. Draco has always supported me in everything that I do, so I really hope he accepts me.

It was a Friday, usually Draco and I hang out after dinner on Fridays to study and talk about how our week was. Sometimes we owl mother and father aswell.

As it grows closer to dinner, I can feel myself getting nervous. A small part of me is really scared that Draco is going to react badly, but another part of me is saying that he is my brother and he will love me unconditionally no matter what.

By the time dinner rolls around, I am way too nervous to eat anything, so I just push food around in my plate for about 45 minutes. I've only managed to eat half a roll by the time I have to meet Draco.

When I get to the Room of Requirement, which is where I told him to meet me, he is already there.

"Hey Dray." I say. He stands up from the couch he was sitting on.

"Hey Livvy." He says. I wrap my arms around him tightly. Savoring what could possibly be the last hug I get from my big brother. After I let go, we sit on the couch,

"Draco, I need to tell you something, but you have to promise not to hate me or disown me. Please." I say, grabbing Draco's hand like I did when we were kids.

"Liv you know I would never hate you, you are my baby sister, nothing would ever make me stop loving you." Draco says.

"Well, I'm....God this is hard." I say.

"It's okay Livvy, you can tell me when you are ready." Draco says, rubbing his thumb over my hand. I take a deep breathe, hold it for a moment, then release it.

"I'm a lesbian." I say. "I like girls."

"That's it?" Draco asks.

"What do you mean?" I ask, looking up.

"Why does it matter if you like girls or not, you're still my sister, and I will still love you." Draco says, hugging me.

"I was so scared," I say, hugging him back. "I thought you would hate me. Think it was weird or unnatural. I though you would treat me different."

"Olivia, you have always been weird. But you are no different. Understand?" He says, pulling away from out hug and looking at my eyes. "You are still my sister. And I love you, always have, and always will."

"I love you too Draco." I say.

"Besides that, do you have a girlfriend?" He asks with a smirk.

"Oh Merlin." I say, resting my forehead in my hands.

"Come on, tell meeee." He whines. "You can't tell me this and then assume I won't have questions."

"I am seeing someone, but it's not official yet." I say.

"Who is she? Is she cute? Nice to you? You know I will be giving her the big brother talk right?" Draco asks.

I let out a sigh. I live my brother to death, but Merlin can he be annoying...
