Riley's P.O.V.
I am laying in my room when my mom yells up a me. I run down my stairs to see a girl standing at the door way. I walk over to my kitchen where my mom is.
"What did you need mom?" I ask
"I need you to run to that forest out there." She says
"Why?" I ask
"The girl in the other room is a monster. And she is after you." She says
"What do you mean mom?" I ask
" Your not a regular human. Your a demigod."
"A what?!"
"Just go!"
I run out the back door into the forest when I hear a scream. I just keep running as I cry. I finally get into the forest. I get to a tree and I start climbing it. I see a girl walking alonf the forest searching frantically around with what looks like a sword. She sees me and starts climbing up the tree. Shoot I am dead.
"Are you Riley Beckondorf?" She asks
"Yeah?" I reply
"I need you to come with me."
"Why?"
"I need to get you to safety."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean the only safe place for our kind."
"What?"
"Your a demigod kid."
"What do you mean? And who are you?"
"I am Jewel Castellan."
"And where am I supposed to go?"
"A camp."
"What camp?"
"Camp Half-Blood."
"What?"
"Just come on. We can't stay here forever."
"Ok."
So here I go. To this camp place. Hey maybe I will see my brother. I just have to hope.
