Once the man was done ordering, he turned around. When he did, his eyes locked with a Yoongi's, who was sitting right across from where he was standing.

"Oh, hyung," Namjoon said in a surrised tone. He smiled, and walked over.

"Weird seeing you out of your studio," he joked.

"Well, even I can use a break," Yoongi replied with a nonchalant shrug.

Taehyung tried to hide his shocked expression, but his jaw was wide open. So were his eyes. Those big doe eyes.

Namjoon turned to Taehyung and Hoseok. Hoseok was shocked as well, just not as shocked at Taehyung who seemed to be frozen like an inanimate object. Like, if you tipped him over, he'd fall and shatter. A literal inanimate object.

He felt like he lost control over his mind, body, and soul.

"You know me?" Namjoon chuckled at them, especially at Taehyung who was again, inanimate.

Hoseok nodded, he turned to Taehyung who still seemed to be frozen, "He's a huge fan. We were just talking about you, he'd been fanboying for the last 5 minutes."

Namjoon smiled, he turned Taehyung, "What's your name?"

"T-Taehyung," he managed to say after being taken aback for a second.

"Well, you already know me," Namjoon stuck his hand out for a handshake.

And Hoseok saw it. The red string on Namjoon's wrist that grew longer, reaching for Taehyung. As if it's been yearning to connect the two for a long time. Aching to finally connect. It finally did, wrapping around Taehyung's wrist when they touched, shaking hands.

Hoseok has only seen this a few times in life. It was rare to find soulmates meet each other for the first time. Yeah, it was a beautiful thing. Love was a beautiful thing, but it would be something he would never experience. Because he was a Jung. Because these red strings don't connect to him. They don't connect to his family. They never did. He feared goodbyes, and tears.

And even though he's never experienced love, he's seen the aftermath.

Love is beautiful. But at the same time, it is scary.

"Caramel Macchiato?" one of the workers behind the counter called out.

Namjoon turned around, raising his hand. "Thank you," he said through his white mask.

He grabbed his drink and walked back to the table of three, "I should get going soon," he said.

"Um," Taehyung spoke before Namjoon could leave. He pulled one of Namjoon's newest album, Mono, out of his bag, which Hoseok raised his eyebrow at it. Who carries around an album?

"Can I get your autograph?" Taehyung asked timidly.

Namjoon let out an amused chuckle, "Of course."

Namjoon grabbed a black pen from his front pocket, opening the cap with his mouth and scribbled on the album.

He handed it back to Taehyung with a wink, "Text me."

Taehyung responded with a confused expression. He looked at the album, seeing Namjoon's phone number on it.

"WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!" Taehyung screamed at the top of his lungs. Kim Namjoon just gave him his personal number! What even?

"Excuse me sirs," a worker approached them at their table, "We've gotten many noise complaints and will kindly ask you three to leave."

And that was how they got kicked out of the café...

Hoseok paid close attention to the interaction between Namjoon and Taehyung. The two were still on his mind as he was walking back to his flower shop that wasn't too far from the café. He would have never thought that Taehyung's soulmate would be an idol. Not to mention, one of Taehyung's favorite people on Earth.

Hoseok knows that the two will end up together. They were soulmates after all. And when the time comes, he will be teasing Taehyung endlessly.

Hoseok smirked at the thought, walking through the door to his flower shop. Hope's Flowers, the flowers that give you hope. That is a proven fact. Hoseok's flowers really give you that content, satisfied, and hope-y feeling.

Could it be the way it was arranged? Could it be the love and care Hoseok gives each bouquet of flowers? Or is it just Hoseok's hopeful nature?

Hoseok was known to give everyone around him hope. But who was there to give him hope when he felt hopeless?

No one.

Hoseok would feel hopeless sometimes, but he still keeps going.

Because he believes that there is someone out there who will give him hope when he needs it.

author note:
I'm sooooo sorry for not uploading! I am behind on my writing once again, and this chapter is shorter than my others. Each chapter I try to write 1000 words, but this is 792 words. I also have a bunch of school stuff being shoved in my face before winter break. 🖕 to all my teachers except my English teacher. He's cool.
