"Hey hyung," Yoongi greeted Jin once he entered the empty store."Oh!" he turned to him. "Good morning, Yoongi."
"Hey listen," he began. "Do you know Hoseok's sexuality?"
"Hmm?" Jin furrowed an eyebrow at him before answering. "I at least know that he's into guys."
"What makes you say that?"
"Caught him watching gay porn," Jin replied nonchalantly.
"O-oh," Yoongi blushed at the thought of Hoseok watching porn. Damn.
"Why're you asking anyways?"
"I think I might ask him out..."
Jin paused at what he was doing, which was sweeping the floor. "Oh no. You don't wanna do that."
"Why not?"
"Hoseok- Hoseok's just against dating is all."
"What happened?"
Jin shrugged, "He just always hated the concept of dating. We never found out why."
Yoongi frowned. "Maybe I should ask him-"
"That will only piss him off," Jin interrupted him. "I'm sorry Yoongi, really. As much as I'd love to see Hoseok in a relationship, and he doesn't want it. There's no such thing as a happy relationship if your partner isn't happy."
Feeling dejected, Yoongi slouched his shoulders, "I just have the best luck. Falling for someone who's against dating."
"Maybe, if he falls for you back?" Jin asked, not liking the sight of Yoongi being a sad little kitten. "Hoseok enjoys your company, maybe you can change his opinion?"
"Me? Am I good enough?"
"Don't say that. Of course you are. And if Hoseok doesn't see that, fuck him."
Yoongi giggled at Jin, "thanks hyung. I can always count on you to talk about these things."
The door to the flower shop opened, revealing a crying Jimin.
"Jimin!" Jin rushed over, wrapping his arms around the boy. "What's wrong?"
"We broke up," he cried out. "Jungkook and I broke up!"
♥
"I don't know what happened," Jungkook whispered. "I was with Jimin, and then he suddenly said that sometimes he wonders that we are a couple. I don't know why, but I got mad. I blurted out things I shouldn't have."
"Like what?" asked Yoongi.
"Like, 'maybe we aren't a couple.'"
"Jungkook..."
"I know! I know," Jungkook held his head in his palms as he leaned forward. "Then we got into a stupid fight, and we actually broke up."
"Where is he now?" Jungkook asked.
"With his friend, Jin. Remember, the guy at the restaurant?"
"Yeah," Jungkook nodded. "I remember him."
"What's up with you?" Yoongi asked. "What's with that tone? It almost sounds like you're jealous."
"Gee Yoongi, I wonder why?" Jungkook gave him a glare. "I hate this."
"What?"
"First mom died, then I broke up with Jimin. Then her funeral is this Sunday, and I'm not sure if I want to go."
"What makes you say that?"
"Because," his voice cracked. "I don't wanna believe that she's gone. I don't wanna say goodbye. I don't want to see her."
"Jungkook," Yoongi went over to his brother to embrace him. "I know how you feel. And trust me, you'll regret not going. Because saying goodbye, is letting go. You have to let her go to heaven."
"I don't want her to go though. I wanted her to stay. To live!" he yelled. "Why'd she do that? What did we do wrong?"
"Mom wouldn't want us to blame ourselves..." Yoongi shook his head.
"Then who's to blame?"
He shook his head once again. "We can't point fingers if we don't even know why she did it."
"I just want all this to end," Jungkook groaned.
"And it will," Yoongi reassured. "It all just takes time."
♥
"Let go of me!" the girl yelled. "Can't you tell when a girls not interested? Leave me alone!"
The man that flung onto her was persistent, he wouldn't let go even though she said "no" countless times.
"Come on," he frowned. "Just once, and I'll leave. Just one night."
"Fuck off you creep!"
He cursed, raising his hand to slap her. She closed her eyes and braced herself, waiting for the hit, but it never came. When she opened them, she saw another woman holding his wrist with a tight grip, her death glare glaring holes into his head.
"Guys like you lose my faith in humanity," she spat at him.
"Ugh!" he gagged. "You bitch! Let go of me!"
"And now you know how she felt," she smirked, kicking her heel in between his legs. He fell down from the pain, holding himself tightly. As much as he wanted to hit her back, he was hurting.
She then turned to the girl who was assaulted. "Go home, it!s not safe out here at night."
She nodded. "What's your name?"
"Irene."
"Irene," the man on the ground looked up at her. "I'll kill you."
"In your dreams," she scoffed out loud. "I'm immortal."
"Shut up," he lunged at her, only for her to flip him over her body and slamming him into the ground. A trick she learned when she was younger. Came in handy for times like this.
"You make me sick," Irene glared at him. "Trying to get with a helpless girl. Keep it in your pants."
By now, the helpless girl was gone. Running away to her car as fast as possible. She just wanted to go home. Irene couldn't blame her.
He only laughed out loud. "You shouldn't have butt in. You should've just walked away like everyone else."
"I'm not like everyone else," Irene simply replied. "I am by no means, a bystander either."
"Just fuck off," the man cursed at her.
"You know," she walked around him as he laid on the floor. "You should go out, and try to meet new people instead of assaulting girls. Maybe then you'd find your special someone."
"My love life is none of your concern. Why're you still here anyway?" he sat up. "To give me a life lesson? Well you did, now leave."
"Yeah, yeah," Irene rolled her eyes. "See you next time."
"Next time?"
