Short chapter, but at least it's a chapter :P

"Busy day at the shop?" Hoseok asked, glancing between the red string on Jin's wrist, and his eyes. The last time Hoseok saw Jin, he didn't have a red string.

Now he does.

Jin shrugged nonchalantly, as if he didn't just meet his soulmate moments before, "Not really. Pretty easy day."

"Good for you," Hoseok nodded as he helped Jin close up the shop.

Hoseok watched Jin walk around the shop. The red string on his wrist led to out the shut door, and to his soulmate. It!d go through his body when he walked passed it. That reminded him of when he was little. Every time a couple with red strings would walk around Hoseok, he'd get scared that it would get him caught in the strings. He'd awkwardly dodge the strings, which caused people to look. His mom played it off though, pretending he was just playing around. Those times made Hoseok smile. He wanted to go back to the days when he was a child, too innocent and pure for the world.

Didn't even know the ugly side of love and relationships.

Now, he was an adult who saw heartbreak up front. Numerous times.

"You're cheating on me, aren't you!?" Hoseok flinched at the noise outside his room.

When he first heard the sounds of shouting coming from his mom and her boyfriend, he shut the door in hopes to drown out the sounds. Right outside his room was the living room and kitchen, where they were fighting. He thought if they saw him shut the door, they'll stop. Who would want to fight in front of a kid?

They didn't stop though. They were so angry at each other.

"I would never cheat on you, you know that!" her boyfriend raised his voice a bit, but he wasn't as loud as her, "I'm loyal to you, no one else! So why would you accuse me of cheating?

"She gave you that look!"

"What look?"

"That look!" she said as if he would know, "That whore even gave you her number! Right in front of me!"

"It's nothing to get worked up about," he said, his voice a bit more calmer, "I threw it away."

"What about all those nights when you work late?" she brought the topic up again. She'd always bring it up when she accuses him of cheating. Yet, they're still together.

"I'm the boss!"

"Stop lying to me!"

"I'm not, I swear!"

And there was a crash. The only fragile object that could shatter in that room, was the vase full of roses Hoseok bought with his own money, just for his mom. Hours after his mom's boyfriend left, along with her, he checked it out.

Turns out it was the vase of roses.

Jimin walked into the white room where his mother rested in her bed. He set the flowers down on the table next to her. He had now gotten used to the beeping sounds from the machine.

He was back here again.

Every time he'd go back home with his mom, he'd end up back here. In the many rooms that looked exactly like this one. It was an end,was cycle of leaving, coming back, leaving, then coming back. Jimin's mom had narcolepsy. It was a sleep disorder where she'd find herself very drowsy during the day, and falling asleep out of nowhere. It was dangerous for her, since she never know when it's coming.

And because of that, they end up back in the hospital.

I am so incredibly sorry for not uploading on schedule. School started for me, and I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. I also have writers block for both Fate and Unexpected. Sorry.
