"Do you believe in soulmates?" He asked.
"Are you trying to subtly flirt with me?" The other asked.
Hoseok's family was very different from the others. One being, they can see the invisible red thread of fate that connected two people, eventually br...
Namjoon tried to be as quiet as he's ever been in his entire life when he creeped the door open to the shared bedroom with a sleeping Taehyung in bed.
He didn't want to wake the sleeping beauty. His sleeping beauty.
He sighed out in relief once he successfully entered the room without making too much noise. He took off his jacket and carefully put it on the chair, before walking to the side table near the bed. He kept his eye on Taehyung's sleeping face as he placed his phone on the table.
Oh was that a mistake.
The clumsy man wasn't watching where he was going, and bumped his hand onto the empty glass with a few drops of water inside.
The poor, yet pathetic object fell down to the ground. Namjoon cursed a billion curse words in his head as he watched it fall. Thank god the floor was carpet, because all it did was make a thud, but even that woke up Taehyung.
The sleeping beauty rubbed his eyes and looked at Namjoon.
"You're so loud," he said with a pout on his lips that just naturally formed due to tiredness.
"Sorry Tiger," Namjoon kissed his forehead.
"Let's sleep," Taehyung threw the pillow he was hugging off the bed, hoping to replace it with Namjoon's body.
"Let me change into my pj's," Namjoon dug through the drawers. He found some black sweatpants, so he changed into just that. Stripping off his shirt and throwing it onto his chair. It landed on top of his jacket he had set there before, and both had slipped off the chair. Landing on the cold, hard ground.
He shrugged it off, snuggling into bed. He felt Taehyung's arms wrap around him protectively, and he held his hand tightly.
"Good night, Tae," he whispered.
"Good night Most Beautiful Person in Life," he replied with a small smile.

Yoongi opened his eyes, being greeted by the darkness. His throat felt dry, and he needed water. So he lifted off the blankets from his legs, getting up. The dim light of the full moon barely making it easy for him to see as he walked out the door, almost tripping over his laptop on the floor charging next to his bed.
Yoongi flicked the light switch on and travelled down the stairs, passing Hoseok's room. He grabbed a glass from the cabinet and pushed down the button.
It was silent except for the water spitting out of the water dispenser, and filling up the glass cup. A yawn escaped his lips before he brought the glass to his lips, gulping down the cold liquid and quenching his thirst.
A sigh escaped his lips after he drew the cup away from his mouth.
He looked out the window that viewed the small woods near the house. His eyes furrowed, hoping that maybe because he was still tired he was hallucinating.
But no.
He wasn't hallucinating. There was definitely a person standing there. He couldn't see their face or any detail about them, it was just a black figure. Even thought I was just a black figure, he knew that the man was staring at him.
"Shit," he whispered, letting the glass slip out of his hands. It fell to the ground making a loud sound that echoed throughout the house.
Hoseok opened his eyes, waking up from the loud sound. He looked around before getting out of bed to check on Yoongi, only to find his bed was empty.
"Yoongi?" he called out. There was no response, so he ran down stairs to the kitchen.
When he turned on the lights, he gasped at the sight of broken glass scattered on the floor. Yoongi stood a foot away from the mess.
"I saw someone out there," Yoongi pointed to the woods. Hoseok grabbing Yoongi's arm to make him step back from the mess of the glass before walking to the other window. He looked out, searching for the someone Yoongi was talking about.
"I don't see anyone," he said after a few seconds.
"I saw someone," Yoongi repeated.
"Yeah, I believe you," Hoseok turned back to Yoongi. "Don't worry, we're safe here."
Yoongi sighed and frowned at the mess. "I'm sorry," he muttered.
"Don't be," Hoseok shook his head."it was an accident, no biggie."
But still, Yoongi felt bad. So he stood there watching Hoseok clean up the mess he made, feeling like a child who was watching their parent clean up their mess after they spilled a cup of water.
He glanced back out the window, seeing nothing like Hoseok said. But he was sure he saw someone out there, so maybe they walked away. Maybe it was just some random guy on a walk in the woods at 3am.
Yeah, no.
Yoongi had an idea of who the man was, and he was sure the readers know as well. Because the man was always in his head, and it will stay that way until the police finally catch him.
"Why don't you go back to bed?" asked Hoseok. "I'll finish cleaning this up."
"Okay," Yoongi reluctantly went back up stairs. But that night, he had a hard time sleeping.

"You saw someone lurking outside your house?" Jungkook questioned, raising an eyebrow.
Every other week he'd come visit Yoongi and Hoseok, making sure everything was going okay between them. He'd expect Yoongi to run to his arms and tell him about how much he's missed him, not about some random guy standing in the woods.
"Yoongi says he thinks it's Jay," Hoseok explained.
"I know it's him," Yoongi corrected Hoseok.
Who else could it be? James Charles? No sister. No.
"Hey, at least he hasn't hurt you guys." Jungkook shrugged.
"Not yet," Yoongi added. He knows Jay, he knows Jay's gonna try and hurt him again. The man's had a troubled past with his parents, which shaped him into who he was today.
Yoongi feared him, and of course Yoongi felt bad for him. Jay could have lived a normal life. A happy life.
But shit happens.
