Today was the funeral for the priest, and as usual I was running a little late. From what I could hear I wasn't the only one who was still here, that was until I heard the door slam shut. Great, quickly rushing around I was finished with in 10 minutes.

I awkwardly open the doors to the bar, thanking the lord that no one noticed my late arrival just in time to hear the end of Marcels speech.
"He was committed to the quarter. He knew that this town needed him. And, we still do. To father K!"
Everyone raises their glasses in the air, walking through the crowd and taking a glass out of someone's hand, handing it back two seconds later when the content of it was gone, and quickly walking of before the person could complain. Seeing a familiar hybrid I waltz over taking the spare stool next to him.

I had been sitting here for two minutes give or take just watching him nurse his drink, huffing I take it away from him and down it. He looks to me with a snarl on his face before realising it was just me. Two more drinks are placed in front of us, and we both sat there in a comfortable silence.

Spotting Elijah sitting at a table at the far end, I jump of the stool grabbing klaus's hand and dragging him behind me before I pull him into the booth next to me. Just as we sit down Hayley joins us taking the empty seat next to Elijah.
"I will warn you Hayley, Nicklaus is in a spectacularly foul mood."
Me and Hayley just roll our eyes at each other knowing it was going to be one of those days.
"Sod of"
Noticing the slur in his words I take the drink from his hands not wanting him to make a scene, especially at a funeral.
"I think we'll lay off of them for a bit"
He doesn't complain or argue with me, knowing I'm right.
Hayley starts questioning klaus on some rings he's doing for the wolves but I tune them out nursing my own drink now, paying no mind to what there saying until I hear klaus mention his father.
"Have you dreamt of our father?"
Klaus reaches over and takes the glass I had previously taken from him downing it.
"Go ahead, have a good laugh"
Taking another glass full he had just gotten out of his hands I pour it in to a plant that was sitting beside me.
"Now that was a waste of some fine liquor"
Rolling my eyes at him I pat his head like a dog, and playfully pull his cheeks.
"Stop pouting"

"I can assure you there is no piece of this that I find even remotely amusing, Niklaus. Especially considering I've been dreaming of him, too."
Me and Hayley both share a look, knowing that something was going to happen and it wouldn't be good. Watching a man walk past I grab his glass and knock it back, placing the empty glass on the table. Klaus looks to me with his dimples showing, already plotting someone's funeral no doubt.
