It was in Hypnos's lair when Aries first confronted Thanatos. The God was pleading with Thanatos to return to his job as soon as possible. Thanatos had simple ignored him and tried to lull himself back to sleep that eluded him. Hypnos was out with his sons doing what only Hypnos himself knew. Aries sat down next to Thanatos "I beg of you." Aires made his voice lighter and he rubbed slight curls into Thanatos's back "The last time you didn't do your job, wars were terribly boring."

"The last time I didn't do my job, I was trapped in a box for a month." Thanatos stated "I have no sympathy for you." Aries moved closer. His arms were muscular and his build was impressive, so what he tried to do next confused Thanatos. He attempted to calm Thanatos in order to persuade. Pushing rings into the others back, Aries manage to lull Thanatos's wings out of his back. They were massive black raven wings. The tips dyed in a bluish green that glowed in the dimness of the cave.

"They are truly beautiful" Aries ran a hand through the soft feathers sending a chill down the other deities back. "Absolutely magnificent."

" See you've taken up Aphrodite's methods." Thanatos shoved him away. "If you wish to caress someone with touches and sweet words, I suggest to find a women of your own" Aries still was toying with Thanatos.

His rough hands managed to pull the long silky hair that Thanatos was sporting out of there braid. It fell to the sides and made swirls on the soft cushions "You now look as beautiful as any woman."

Thanatos sat straight and used his wings to push Aries more firmly. "Leave me to sleep Aries or you'll never see me work for you again."

Aries got up and left with a grumble and a curse. Hypnos reentered the cave and took a look at Thanatos "I'll redo your hair brother."

Aries is standing at Thanatos's boat. His face was red with rage but the god of death looked at him with indifference "It is your one and only duty to carry those who are dead to the afterlife." He stated to Thanatos.

"You are not wrong."
"So why are men getting killed left and right but none die!"

"Because I will not deal with your problems for you Aries" Thanatos said annoyingly. "You started this war, you fix it. Until then I will not take these men against their will" Aries grabbed Thanatos boat and pushed him to the floor. Thanatos didn't react as his back hit the hard ground. "Aries don't start a dance with death, you'll never win." Thanatos rolled out from under him and made his way back to the boat. Aries threw his might fists into the air with vigor as Thanatos attempted to catch wondering souls and place them on the boat. Aires landed a hit on Thanatos's cheek which shot him into the waters in which the boat was a float. His wings curled up to avoid them from getting wet.

"ENOUGH!" Hades landed in front of Aires "If you've no reason to be here than leave!"

Aires sulked out of the underworld. Hades picked up Thanatos out of the waters "Are you alright?" Hades asked looking cautiously at his friends wings.

Thanatos shook him off. "I'm going to see Hypnos."
