Outside of Miss Bustier's classroom. Adrien and Kalianna were attempting to call their father and mother.
"You've reached the voicemail of Gabriel Agreste's office. Please leave a message"
"Hi father, it's me. It's Parent's Career Day at school, remember? I was hoping that you were gonna show up. Call me back" Adrien said into the phone. He looked upset and disappointed.
"I'm sorry, Adrien" Kalianna said, giving her boyfriend a warm hug.
"It's okay. Is your mother still not answering?" The blonde haired boy asked.
"Yeah, I don't understand though, she promised she'd be here" Kalianna said as she tried calling her mom again for the fifth time, but it went straight to voicemail.
"Hi, you've reached Victoria De-Sinclair's voicemail, leave a message please"
Kalianna sighed. "Hi mom, it's me. You promised that you'd be here for Parent Career Day! Please just call me back"
"Why don't you call your father instead?" Adrien asked.
"I can't. He's having brunch with Prince William in Kensington Palace. And when he's done with that, he's selling one of his best fashion design pieces to Roberto Cavalli, who's one of the top ten fashion designers" Kalianna explained.
"Oh, right. I still can't believe your mom and dad is best friends with Kate Middleton and Prince William though" Adrien said.
"I know, it's pretty amazi-"
"Kalianna!" Victoria called as she came running over. "I'm here, did I miss anything?"
"No, mom, you didn't. Now come on, let's go inside the class. Are you coming Adrien?" The noirette asked.
"Uh...yeah. My father's not coming anyway"
"I'm so sorry sweetie" Victoria said sympathetically while she and Kalianna entered the classroom.
Adrien came in after them sadly went back back to his seat. Nino, who was recording Marinette and her dad Tom, saw the boy's expression and patted his back. Adrien shook his head, Nino frowned, he knew Gabriel wasn't coming.
Kalianna sat next to Nathaniel while Victoria stood beside her desk. The girl felt bad for her boyfriend, she wished she could just give him a kiss to make him feel better in front of the whole class, but she knew she couldn't.
"Marinette will come around and pass out some croissants baked fresh this morning" Tom said as his daughter starts giving her classmates some croissants.
"Thank you, Mr. Dupain. Now, let's meet Alya's mom, who is head chef at the Grand Paris hotel, owned by our mayor, Mr. Bourgeois" Miss Bustier said as Marlena and Alya went up front to the class.
Just then, Kalianna had noticed that her mother was holding a Louis Vuitton handbag.
