Your P.O.V
Once Hiro texted my sister the bell rang, signaling that Hiro and I need to get to class. I close my laptop and pick up my books and journals."Technoligical science first," I say aloud.
"Yeah, it's this way," Hiro guides me down the hall.
(After all the classes)
Hiro's P.O.V
"So, I asked your sister to meet me at the bakery," I try to make some sort of conversation with the gorgeous brainiac.
"cool,"
"How should I ask her out?" I ask.
"I dunno," she answers.
"Oh, ok, so do you wanna come to the bakery?"
"I'm good, thanks," she murmurs in a soft tone. Honey and Wasabi are already on there way to their house. Fred and GoGo have to stay for an extra period.
"So, when is your mom coming home?"
"Um, she said she had to grade some things, so whenever she finishes that,"
"Do you want to program some new moves for Baymax?" I coo hoping she'll take me up on the offer.
"Um, maybe some other time, I have homework I need to do,"
"I can help you,"
"It's fine, really," her voice changes and I hint her annoyance. I am annoying asking all these lame questions, hoping that she'll perk up from the weird funk she's in. She's happy when I talk about robots but today in class she hardly said a word when we were going over robotic physics. Ever since I brought up the idea of going out with Mary, Y/N has been upset. She isn't jealous, is she ?
"Ok, yeah, that's cool. I saw you did awesome on the technolgy paper, great job," I smile slightly in her direction but she keeps staring off into the distance looking for the 2:15 bus. I glance at my watch 2:17, it's two minutes late, that doesn't surprise, Rob, the driver, loves to chat to town people.
"I guess, I only got half a point for the system maker question," she frowns.
"Hey, that's still good," I pat her on the back. She shrugs. The bus screeches to a hault in front of us. Students who gathered a few paces away get on first, Y/N and I bored last. I find a seat next to her, hoping she talks to me.
"Tell me about your family" I press.
"Huh? Well I have four siblings, the youngest are two twins, there 5, and my other younger sister she's 8 almost 9. My dad died when she was a baby." she presses her head to the cold window.
"I'm sorry, again, so are your siblings fun and wild?"
"Yeah, Mary and the twins are, the twins are my half twins, there Mary's dad kids and my mom's, my younger sister, she's really quite, but super awesome. She is amazing at art" Y/N eyes brighten as she speaks of her younger sister.
"Wow, that's great, maybe she can sketch me some pictures some time," my hand briskly touch Y/n and a tingle runs down my spine. What was that? I jerk my hand away quickly.
"Did you feel that?" I whisper.
"Yeah, that was weird"
"I wonder what that means?"
"I don't know, but let's pretend it never happened," she scoots away from me, she practically is pressed up against the side of the bus.
"What? Why?" I stammer.
"Because, you're going to have a girlfriend in a few minutes so it's best not to talk about hand touching with her sister," she boils.
"I guess," I sigh. Y/N huffs. The bus stops in front of the cafe as always, some teens float inside. I see Mary's blonde hair through the window.
"Good luck," Y/N tells me before scurrying across to her house. I exhale sadly and watch as she slams her door. Why did I let her go? I go in the Cafe and fake a smile. I sit across from Mary, and too my luck Aunt Cass doesn't notice me.
"Hey, Hiro" Mary flashes a toothy grin.
"Hey, Mary,"
"So what did you want me to meet you here for?" she flips her hair to the side.
"I was wondering, if maybe, you, would, like to be my girlfriend?" I rush.
"Why yes, Hiro of course, I would." she giggles happily. "I was just surprised you aren't into my sister, Y/N, you're her friend right?"
"yep," Though I wish we were more.
"Well, great, do you want to go over to my house, we can watch a movie in my room, it's a bit crowded in here"
"Yeah, sure,"
"Great," Mary laces her fingers with mine as we sprint across the street. She unlocks her front door. I assume the only one's home at the moment are Y/N and Mary.
"Where are your parents?"
"Work" Mary replies. She takes me up three flights of stairs and go into the shared room of her's and Y/N.
"Hello there sista!" Mary opens the door. Y/N sits at a desk, looks like she's playing Dragon Ball Z. NOT homework. That little liar.
"Hi, Mary," Y/N keeps her head in her screen not noticing me.
"Hiro's here, he's now offically mine," Mary squeezes my arm.
"Uh, cool, that's awesome,"
"Do you care if we watch a movie or anything?"
"No go right ahead, I'll go down stairs to do homework."
"No, you can stay up here, take a break and watch with us." Mary lets go of me and files through movies. She takes one off the shelf and pops it into the DVD player.
"o-ok" Y/N stutters and closes the laptop. Mary pats on the spot next to her. I take it, Mary holds my hand again. Y/N props her chin on her hands and watches from where she is.
