your singing filled the room that was nearly empty. your voice was beautiful and heart warming. you sang the last lyrics of the song and smile proudly as you looked at your sister who showed a happy smile.
"what do you think? did i improve?" you ask Yumi smiling waiting for her answer. Yumi sits up from her chair and smiles as she says, "your voice is really beautiful sister, you improved a lot"
her words only made your confidence go up. becoming a pop singer was your dream, you want to become a singer to help the hearts of joseon. to help your country.
"woah, y/n your singing really did improve" you heard a familiar voice say. just by hearing the voice made your heart skip a beat.
you smile as you see seungwon hold his hands out showing the smile you love to see. you quickly walk down the steps of the stage and run to seungwon hugging him tightly.
seungwon couldn't help but chuckle at your cuteness. "did you miss me?" seungwon asks you letting go of you
you nod in response, "when did you come back?" you ask, "barely today" seungwon responds
"I'm happy to see you two get along well" yumi said getting the attention of couple
yumi is the one who first introduced the couple. you being the younger sister of the bar owner, you knew most of the workers. and you finally met seungwon, who was a songwriter and produced music. and ever since the two met they became close, which lead them to dating.
"yumi-ah, will you allow me to barrow this lovely lady for some time?" seungwon asks your sister
yumi smiles and nods, "of course, just make sure you get here before the curfew"
"orabeoni, where will we go?"
"you'll see" seungwon replies as he wrapped his arm around your shoulder

"that lady, how does she look?" seungwon replies pointing to a picture of you, you smile and take the picture looking at it "well..." you start as you take the picture
it was a picture of you smiling next to pretty flowers. "she's the best of all the pictures you've sent so far" you play along
"really? let's see?" seungwon says taking the picture looking at it, "she's very pretty. with sparkling eyes and a neat attire" seungwon describes
you smile, "she must have a heart of an angel" seungwon said as you nod at his words, "she must, she's really pretty, isn't she?" you compliment yourself
"but her mouth..." seungwon starts with a teasingly voice, you stop smiling and look at him "what's wrong with her mouth??" you quickly ask
seungwon looks up at you, "talking back. looks like she'll be stubborn" seungwon teases with a smile
"i am not" you respond with a small pout, "see! must be stubborn..." seungwon teased as he looked back at the picture
you take it off his hands and set it down with a small pout. "in my eyes, no one can be more beautiful" seungwon tells you with a smile
you smile back, "your mother wouldn't let you marry an artist..." you said looking down sadly
seungwon puts his hand on top of yours and looks at you. "y/n" he starts, "you know me. im modern! my mother can't control me, i am a grown man who can decide on my own decisions now" seungwon finished trying to lighten the mood with a small chuckle
you look at him with disbelief and confusion, seungwon stops chuckling as he noticed your expression. "silly man.." you mumble loud enough for him to hear

"two years should do to be my bride" seungwon says getting your attention, you watched seungwon walk ahead "who said I'll marry you.." you said with a small smile
you catch up with seungwon and stop infront of the store. an album caught your eyes, one of your favorite artists. a pop singer.
"madam lee nanyoung" you say as you smile amused looking at the albums
"madam? you call her that even when you know her" seungwon says looking at you, "who doesn't know her in joseon. i love her songs.. i would like to meet her one day" you reply
"have you heard this song?" seungwon asks pointing at an album 'SPRING DREAM'you nod, "of course! that's my favorite" you exclaim happily "written and composed by choi chi-rim, don't you know this song?" you ask
seungwon shrugs, you shake your head slightly.
the couple get to the train and sit down. "so, tell me, what did you do without me?" seungwon asks
"well.." you start, "me and yumi were very busy managing the bar.. there was many customers, it was really tiring. i also practiced my singing and dancing" you inform with a happy smile
"really? you must be tired" seungwon says with a small pout, you nod. "orabeoni, you know.. i really want to become a pop singer, do you think I'll become one?" you ask seungwon with small hope
seungwon nods, "of course, you're already know in joseon. when i went over there, there was people talking about you. it made me happy" seungwon explains with a smile,
"really?"
seungwon nods, "orabeoni, when will i be able to sing one of your songs?" you ask
"very soon my lady" seungwon replies

the male and female walk down the streets. it was already late, meaning it was almost curfew time. the two were together the whole day catching up with each other creating lovely memories.
seungwon skips making you let out a small laugh covering your mouth, seungwon smiles seeing your reaction. you skip like seungwon making him chuckle. times like this make cute memories, cute things to remember.
you look at your front porch to see hyerin waiting for you. once she sees you she walks infront of you and seungwon.
"where were you?" hyerin asks you, you look at seungwon and share smiles
"say hello hyerin, this is ahn seungwon. and this is..." you say as you move next to hyerin putting your arm around her shoulder, "my best friend, jang hyerin" you introduce the two
"nice to meet you" seungwon says with a small smile, "hello"
you only wish to go back into time. you regret letting the two know each other.
